Todd:I believe you, I just want to build a fraud case against them. Don't worry about the slander ( in most states it would be libel) I'm an attorney and would gladly defend you.PS: Thanks for the Lottery Universe note, as well. I read their terms last year but didn't believe they could get away with that condition you reference....and I HAVE asked to produce tickets but received no reply.

It is very simple for you to verify: Ask them to show you a copy of the tickets that they buy for you. (Fax, e-mail, or any other means of their choosing.) They do not buy the tickets. Why would I open myself to slander unless I knew it was true? You are correct in your suspicions. Always trust your gut feel.

Todd:I was immediately suspicious of when I first discovered their service last year. The sheer logistics of what they claim to do seem beyond belief and the endless price increases as jackpots increase only lend more support to those suspicions. The officials from their service contend, however, that they purchase tickets through official lottery retailers from all listed lotteries and this is supervised by an accounting firm per their Lloyds of London insurance agreements.

Denali,It would not be a smart move to buy through . They do not actually buy any lottery tickets. Suposedly they buy insurance, but even that is unprovable. So if you win, there's no lottery ticket to claim.IMPORTANT: By not buying the ticket - and only buying insurance - they are essentially creating their own lottery, which is illegal in the United States, and you would probably never see a dime of any jackpot you win

You can play the Texas Lottery through but will pay an appreciable ---and variable---mark-up ( currently $25 for a 5 ticket block) The Lottery Universe site previously offered them but apparently no longer does. PlayLot states that they will be offering both the Texas and California lotteries through their site by years end.
