My big issue with the Texas Lottery is the fact that they pay NOTHING for the bonus ball. Mega Millions pays $2 for the Mega Ball.Orangeman

I would like to have the option of having more games and higher jackpots. A better chance of winning or at least having a chance to win 220 million on two tickets instead of one ticket on 100 million.

Yes - Sure - It's not that Texas needs the game, but more like the rest of us in Mega Millions states need Texas players to help build up the jackpot!!!Gotta love those $100 million plus jackpots

If I was in Texas and was looking to hit a big jackpot all my money would go to the texas lottery as the odds are almost 3.5x better of hitting that then the mega millions.

I prefer Mega millions, It pays off better than the Texas Lottery overall.For example if you get 3 of 5 numbers without the bonus on lottery you will only receiver 5.00 whereas 3 of 5 without Mega Ball you wil receive 7.00 plus it can be megaplied up to 28.00! My choice would be Mega if I had to choose.

Does Texas really need Mega Millions. Note that Texas has had huge Lotto Texas jackpots in the past year.
