I tried the sum average for California and it didn't work. I tried the average of the last 5 for each draw for the past week and then the average of the last 10 for the past week. The results were not even close, except for one that was 1 percentage point off. I don't want to discourage someone from testing it in other states, but it doesn't work in California.

Here is the Mink404ski post Blackapple is talking about:Hello Players, I posted this about a year ago and it is still is a very effective way to pick you numbers. Give it a try.....Mink404Ski This is for 3 Digit Number players in all states. Take the winning numbers for at least the last 5 days and the sum each day. Example numbers drawn 233=8; 345=12; 725=14; 615=12; 456=15...... Add the sums 8+12+14+12+15=61 which would average 12.2 ---- So you would play the numbers on 11-12-13 below.

It irked me that he wanted so much money for the upgrade and I am a stubborn cuss.Thank you Blackapple....I will do a search on it for the threads.Paintbrush, I appreciate the response. That is exactly what I want from the root sum thing............to eliminate not to predict.

I haven't had any luck either I like to usethem best to get rid of combos more than predict.from time to time you'll see roots flip back andforth with different roots like root -4-6-8if 6 hit than 4 or 8 would back and forth.but it doesn't last long and you have to payattention to the next one.versabet stuffsounds good but I like deleting more thanpredicting. try predicting what won't ratherthan what will...good luck chris

Sandy,The sums column (just the ones digit of the sum) works very well in California, but not as well in the other states (Texas, Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida) that I track. The Root Sums doesn't have any correlation that I can find. Here is the jump chart for California. By jump I mean the difference in the sum column from the previous draw. 5=23 +4=25 +3=34 +2=34 +1=49 0=30 -1=44 -2=39 -3=34 -4=46 Total=358Other states are not that clear cut. Notice Texas: 5= 19 +4= 19 +3= 18... [ More ]

If Mink404ski's sums are reduced to rootsums( Example: 11=2, 12=3,13=4) its most promising. The challenge is connecting these single roots with combos.Where there is a will, there is a way. I have not found it yet.

Revisiting Mink404ski's Sums system for all States post might be a place for research I usually have to wait for the right configuration of the digits need a 7 day window. I will search the lotteries for an example.

Hi SandyIf I remember correctly you said you had versabet 3/4.I always had a real big problem on figuring roots and sums when they were in a playable zone.About 4 weeks ago I created two new games in my versabet. One for roots and one for sums.I went back about 100 draws and entered the root and sums in their newly created game for them. For the roots I entered in the three digit game boxes. The root number drawn placed in the first box and box 2 and 3 the digit zero. From there I can look at the... [ More ]

Actually, now that I think about it....................that is a good new project for you, Mike K.......................something with a root sum filter with just that as the main focus of the program, no draw digits, just the root sum.

I have been spending the last 2 weeks in research mode----not buying any tickets, not using my old methods, basically trying out new things. The conclusion I have come to is that the Root Sum is going to be my main filter. But the problem is I cannot figure out how to filter it............I have taken midday to midday, evening to evening, midday to evening and evening to midday and there does not really seem to be a pattern there. I have done odd and even.....all kinds of things. There simply m... [ More ]
