GeorgeI feel compelled to tell you that there is a young fellow on this Forum (I think he's some dude from California) who is masquerading as yourself, He didn't fool me, I could tell that he was only about twenty and the impressive fine beard and moustache were only stickons. Looks very much like Sir Francis Drake.RegardsColinPS Excuse my ignorance but what is the significance of December 23, 1763

George,I have found the compiled code coming out of the Microsoft .NET languages to be among the fastest I have used. It doesn't matter which .NET language you use - they all use the same runtime libraries. With all the rich functionality I was expecting a major-league slow-down, but I was extremely surprised at the lightning-fast data processing times.

GeorgeInteresting site.I was wondering whether I should be there with a date of December 23, 1763 staring at me. Around the time of Bill Blake, you know _Tiger! Tiger! burning brightIn the forests of the night,What immortal hand or eyeCould frame thy fearful symmetry?Good luck with your programming problem. I'm strictly Bill Gates variety.RegardsColin

Hello Friends, This one is going out to my fellow software developers.I have done some research into various programming languages that are out there. I wanted something that could process a lot of data FAST. After looking it was down to two choices, LISP and OCAML.I chose Ocaml and downloaded/installed it. The problem is with the caml browser which returns an error about not having the tk83.dll file. I would like to use some of the libraries out there to create my software.I'm running an... [ More ]
