In my humble opinion, winning a jackpot in MegaMillions or PowerBall is a once in a life time experience for a few lucky people. I got lucky 2 years ago and matched 5 in the Ohio Super Lotto for $1500 and that's as close as I ever came to winning a jackpot. Even with a pool of 20-25 numbers that have all the winning numbers, you still would had to be lucky to have all the winning numbers in one line with a $10-$20 bet, but that is the reason people use software and systems even though there's... [ More ]

I use CoverMaster to make up a wheel as I need one for the amount of coverage that I can afford. It also allows me to pick a few combinations the way I like and used them in the wheel design. With 20-25 numbers I can't afford to even cover 100% a wheel that guarantee 3if5 so I usually cover 90% to 95% of the wheel.RJOh

Mike,You might want to recheck your published odds for MegaMillions(odd or 5/5+1 =1:131,145,920). I'm looking to come up with a smaller group on average than 40/28 to play. I played a 20/20 set last night with 90% coverage for 3if5 for $20 and won $3, that's about the maximum that I'll spend. Good luck on your site.RJOh

FWIW...Ever tried LuckSmith ( color=#0000ffwww.lucksmith.com)? It's a site I've recently launched that uses a similar strategy/approach to playing as the one you outlined. Current accuracy statistics are published on the site so you can compare it to your method. I offer a 1-week trial subscription, so you can try before you buy.Any comments or feedback are welcomed.Mike

Thanks namaxplace,07, 04,38 was in the group and I played all 20 numbers in the combination and as the mega ball so I matched 04 and 07 as mega ball for $3. Four of the numbers had hit during the previous 22 drawings, but 33 hadn't hit in 56 drawings.RJOh

Tonight I plan to use several groups and only play numbers common to most of the groups which should reduce the group size. With 20 numbers, I can get 90%+ coverage for a match 3 in 20 lines, hopefully the group will have more of the winning numbers than last time.Good luck MegaMillions players.RJOh

I never considered the birthday numbers, but with last night's and last Tuesday's winner, maybe I should have. Many times there are no winners with these low numbers.During all 232 Mega Millions drawings, a pool of birthday numbers (1-31) have matched:0+1 = 11+1 = 92+1 = 333+1 = 553+0 = 344+1 = 294+0 = 215+1 = 115+0 = 8I still will be trying to pick a small group of numbers that I can afford to cover until they have a winner.RJOh

I've been trying to come up with a pool of numbers to play MegaMillions that didn't include all 52 numbers. I've noticed that during the last 215 drawings, a pool of numbers that had been drawn during the previous 15 drawings would have contained 36-45 numbers and would have had all 5 winning numbers 66 of those times and 4 or the winnings numbers 82 of those times. Tonight that pool would include 39 numbers.During the last 194 drawings, a pool of megaball numbers that had not be drawn during... [ More ]
