I hit the Fantasy Five Drawing here in Florida in December, 2003. Oh what a morning that was when I woke up and all five of my numbers were there. There were 4 winners total including myself so the payoff was $65,000. ($50,000 after taxes.) And ofcourse I continue to play. It only took $1.00 and thats all I played that lucky night. The way I figure, if I could do it once, I can do it again.P.S. And so can you

Heck I would continue to buy lottery tickets even after winning the jackpot. Ofcourse I would not but any more then $4-$5 worth at a time (yes even after winning the jackpot). I'm a firm believer that if you are going to win, then you are going to win even if you buy just $1 worth of ticket. But after winning the jackpot, the chances of lightning striking twice are very very low, so I would still continue to buy tickets but I would not spend $100 like Jack Whittaker.

I only buy tickets when the cash value of the pot is greater than the odds. which lately has saved me a lot of money. When it finally goes over that amount I limit my spending to 150% of the pot (450 for a 300 mil pot). someone will always spend more than you anyways but the odds are so bad that an extra 20 grand wouldn't improve them that much anyways.
