It seems I'm a little late. I did a Google search on UK and Netherlands Lottery scams and found lot of articles about them and the Police in several countries have made arrests. There is a warning with one of them that states the obvious. It says don't give them your bank account and/or credit card numbers. Don't send them money and don't call them because they can get your phone via caller ID and your telephone bills will suddenly become VERY large. BTW they using other countries National Lott... There's new a Lottery scam (new to me at least)going around via email. Over the past week I've received three emails, two allegedly from the UK Lottery and one from the Netherlands Lottery telling me that my email address had been chosen via their computer and entered into a special drawing and that I had won 2.5 million dollars. They wanted to know how I wanted the check delivered. Playing along, I told them I didn't have a bank account so they'd have to send a certified check. Here's the kicke... [ More ]
