There have been many good ideas posted in this thread and I hope people read it.1) Patience;2) Stick to the pick 3 and win more for your buck (50% payoff-to-odds ratio and keep Uncle Sam out of your wallet); my theory is that if you have a hard time winning at 1000-1 odds, what does that make your chances in a 135,000,000-1 game?3) Play only a small amount on the jackpot games and I usually stick to the pick 5 and play only a buck a draw; I don't spend a cent on the rip-off scratch off scams.4... I have been playing since I was 17 (not old enough to collect). My first hit my brother had to collect my money. (111 in PA) I do pretty well, Yes I agree that GOD has everything to do with it. I usually play my numbers for 1yr cash 3 and cash 4. I don't have any luck with the other games. If they don't do well than I get some new numbers. RJOH, you're right !!! Something smells bad on that pool. 900 chances and only matched a 2 plus 1 ? Odds are there should have been at least 10 to 15 powerball matches.Unseen, your girlfriend have a copy of all the numbers to the group

Unseen:I agree that Pick 3 is the best way to play and build a nestegg to throw at other higher risk games. You will find a lot of good ideas on how to play Pick 3. I can deal with 10 numbers. I can't deal with 104 or 88.Orangeman

dont put your dreams on the big numbers. My girlfriends work put in $20 each on this past powerball. 45 people each putting in $20 for a total of 900 tickets. The most they got was 2 number and a powerball. Ive had alot of success with pick 3 though

O.k. Now that I've calm down.I would like to thank everyone for giving me advice.I expect to win and win big.I play New York lotto, mega - CT lotto and PowerballI felt I should have won this powerball.It makes me mad that someone who is 90 or will still work wins 215millionI would do so much with that money and live the way I'm suppose to.

My suggestion is expect to win. Develop a strong hate for losing money. This hate may drive you to win. I hate losing money with a passion. If I don't win at least three times a week I get really frustrated. My husband says what do you expect, to win everyday? My answer is yes! Willl3 you might not think this is a good idea but you could probably hit 2/3 or more days a year if you just played the same number every day that hit last year on the same date. If you combinated the number for 50 cents and it hits in any order you get the straight and boxed hit. Then when you hit take 1/3 of the money and play some numbers from the prediction pages of the person that doing good for your state.

will3,Three hundred dollars is a pretty good hit in any lottery game. I think most of us would be fairly happy if we could win that much from time to time. You didn't mention what lottery game(s) you play, but I'm assuming that you make reference to playing jackpot games. The odds are very long on such a game.
