The drawing is on the 22nd. I didn't know that the sales ended sooner. The tickets were pretty expensive but that jackpot is beautiful and if I'm not mistaken you actually have a better chance of winning something on it.

I've tried Playlot - I love them , they are great! I also play El Gordo and I've won some cash!You gotta be careful which online lottery service you select! There are alot of 'em that don't actually buy the tickets!Good luck

Yes, I've had great experiences with them. Every time I win a prize it is instantly credited to my account, and I can either use it towards a future purchase, or I can request a check.It is also extremely easy to place an order.

Thanks for the insight Todd. With all the other lottery scams you hear about, like those originating in Canada used to milk mainly old people of their life savings, I can see people being wary of online lotteries or those based in foreign countries. It's great you have had a different and more positive experience.But anyway, I think it's a shame the USA can't match El Gordo at least prize-wise.

Yeah, the same article appeared in USA Today last week. The author obviously has no experience with PlayLot -- especially lumping them in with a risky site like buypowerballonline.com -- but at least she set the record straight on that scam site Lottery Universe.Lottery officials, like the one quoted in the article, have a duty to say don't do it , because that's the politically correct thing to say.
