I have been a member of <snip> for a while, thinking I might have had something to offer to offset the misinformation offered there. I was wrong.I have been kicked out of <snip>. I had one of those from aol awhile back.....I just ignored it, and they went away...I usually do not answer emails from companies unless I've requested information from them.........this one was from aol securties office.....I figured if they wanted me for something they would have to call or cancel my membership....

BobP,You are absolutely correct, and people need to be VERY CAREFUL about these spoofs.One that I'm getting several of every day now are from Citibank. They're NOT REALLY from Citibank, but they claim they are. They try to get you to go to their web site - which looks like a Citibank web site - and enter your password and personal information. They then use that info to steal from you.

It means that you receive an e-mail, and it looks like it came from someone in the sender portion, but someone completely different actually sent the message.For example, I can very easily send you an e-mail and make the return address billgates@microsoft.com. You may THINK Bill Gates sent you the message because of the return address, but he was not the one who sent it to you.Fortunately, there is a fairly easy way to tell if an e-mail is genuine. Hello Datenda,Spoofed means when someone sends you an email with the email of someone else as the sender.For instance, I could send someone an email telling them to Get A Life!! . but I would make you the sender so they think it came from you instead of me.Email Spoofing

George,I agree that little mongrel is a fitting name for Colin F. While he was here, he did nothing but cause disruption and disarray. I'm glad you exposed his nonsense and latest ruse.Stranger still, he claims to be from Australia, yet is pushing North American games. He is underhanded and not to be trusted by any means. I feel sorry for anyone who would sign up for his web site, but it's a free country, and people are free to make (and learn from) their own mistakes.
