I play whichever game has the higher jackpot. I love living along the Iowa (Powerball) - Illinois (Mega Millions) border! Also, it's worth noting that Illinois is a Mega Millions state, while every state that borders Illinois is a Powerball state

both games have odds over 1 in a 100 million, mega has a better payout, powerball has megaplier....I dont see where there would be enough of a variance for me to not play whats offered in my state vs. driving to another state to play...so I guess for me it would be (megamillions

That's a tough call. On one hand, Powerball has the better overall odds of winning. On the other hand, Mega Millions has greater prize payouts for Match 5, Match 4, Match 3+1, and Match 2+1 winners.
