But i see it this way. Its not just the luck of matching all the numbers in a draw. Its also when you match them... and the draw you skip could very well have your name on it... [ More ]

well i could not play at all but this is the lottery post not the sunday post. I still have a very small chance at winning on wendsday and saturday. I enjoy my small chance more than movies that are out and other entertainment and its the hope that i could quit my job asap that drives me.

Skipping a drawing is a good thing. Since you wouldn't have won anyway, you've just won a dollar. Not to be a pessimist or anything.

missing a draw with favorite number sets where you would have won a nice prize would be heartbreaking. i guess it's essentially the same feeling as rotating number sets in and out of play on regular basis - something i often do - and having a bunch of them match the week they're out of play...yet, i still often rotate some favorite sets

If you don't play and your numbers win how would you handle that. Last week when power ball got to 200 mil I didn't drive to DC and get my tickets guess what I would have won 400 dollars. I had 4 out of 5. I probably would have had a heart attack it I had 5 balls and would be in the insane asylum if I had all the numbers and didn't play.

I'm playing Oregon's megabucks. Its 21.9 million on a 6/48 game. Drawings are every Monday Wendsday and Saturday. Highest pot on record is 23 million so I dont think it will last long but I'm tempted to miss mondays drawing.
