when i sold scratch offs i noticed the winning tickets customers brought back mostly did have the same or almose the same barcode numberending/ or same 3 digit number as the number 75 and 76 and 85 would be on most of the winning scratch0ofs. then and this was ike 1997 so, i dont know how much things have changed since then.

I too have noticed, I usually win when I play at a certain store, Thought I was just a little crazy, but maybe not. Does the number 12 have any meaning? If I win on scratch off tickets, it is usually the number 12. Miss Bee

i buy tickets when i have spare time,usually before the drawing -the day of the drawing or the day before.i try to buy mine from our local store,so if i actually win the powerball or one of the other prizes -they get the selling bonus.

nope,i didn't win anything today.the tennessee lottery started in march.i play my tickets at the same store every day but the one time i played at a different store was because i'd been at the hospital all night i ended up winning that time.makes me think i might need to change to a new store......

the reason i ask this question is because they put the date and time on the ticket with the results on it. you know, when you ask for the previous winning numbers.but.....................they go through all that trouble to remove the time from the actual ticket , the ticket with the numbers you are playing, for what reason?i look at my computer logs and everything everything every single entry even mistakes ...............have the time. if you removed your pc clock battery, your computer wo... this is gonna real make people think.i buy my tickets every day around 4pm....there was only one day i ever ever bought my tickets early and that was one time at right around 11am after i'd spent a night at the emergency room so i got em early and bought 8 tickets for the same number that day.....woke up and looked up my state lottery site and i had won! and its been the only time i've won since the lottery started here in march,by the way i hit on pick 3 straight,8 times 500=4,000 dollar win,h... You may be on to something that I have been trying to pin down for myself. I have noticed that my wins...lottery, slots etc., are more frequent during certain hours and/or when the moon is in certain compatible signs . Slots hit on the hour or half hour for me. Lottery wins were among tickets purched a between 2- 3 p.m. or 7-8 p.m.... I have not followed up or done a validation diary/journal on this theory. i will usually buy mega millions or powerball tickets the day after the previous draw. i had a streak of 6 straight drawings where i won something. if i play a daily game, i will usually buy my tickets after the previous drawing, and play the numbers for the evening drawing only. i don't do midday drawings anymore.

I heard once that alot of winners (regardless of the location or type of lottery) play the same day of the draw. As far as time goes, I image most do it on their lunch breaks or perhaps on their way to or from work. I never found playing tickets at a particular time or on a particular day had any bearing on me winning a prize.I also recall an entry on Lottery Post not long ago where a New Jersey man won a large jackpot by playing the same five quick picks several draws in advance.
