As near as I can tell, the odds against winning the jackpot in this game are about 272,277,720 to 1. Those are pretty formidable odds. And I thought PowerBall was a tough game! I'd say the jackpot moves up so slowly because they only draw once a week except on the Super Saturdays when they hold two drawings and award some merchandise prizes. The public is probably also fairly discouraged by the long odds of the game. It would seem a little hard to build much momentum and excitement around such... [ More ]

I think that is why it goes up so slowly every week because of the small amount of people playing it. I sort of understand some of the website so I have been able to track all the places that the jackpot has went, but it does not say when was the last time it went. Under the winners section it shows that the highest the jackpot has ever been is 18 mil. euro. I also been able to track past numbers through the website, but it does not help. Oh well, I am here until 2006 so I'll keep trying, who... [ More ]

It doesn't appear that they have an English translation, so I can't offer an opinion on the content. If it's a government lottery I can't imagine it's rigged , although matching 6+1 for a small population like the Netherlands sounds a bit like rigging in itself. No thanks.

Just curious,I am currently here in the Netherlands. I have been playing their lotto since Feb. 04 every Sat. It is about 14.5 mil Euro right now. It takes matching the first 6 number balls and the one color ball to win the jackpot. It moves up very slowly. At this rate it seem as though their lotto will go once a year! Do you all think this lotto is rigged? Also, what do you think accounts for the slow rise in the jackpot every week? For this country to have the oldest lotto in the world it sur... [ More ]
