It's simple, the more you play the better chance you have of winning, rich or poor. Rich people can just spend more easily then the poor people. I consider myself one of the stupid people who makes the lottery richer and someone a millionaire but damn, I just love it. What can I say

There is a big difference between using computerized random number generators to generate 'ticket numbers' versus using them for the 'actual lottery draw'. I don't see any way that drawings such as the current Powerball set-up could be rigged. Using mechanical drawing machines in televised drawings, being closely monitored as they occur and even offering invitations to the general public to go to Iowa and participate in witnessing the live drawings...it's about as honest as one can possibly get.... enterceptorr,I looked at some of the winners' stories on the Texas Lottery website. Although some people of means have won, not all of the winners have been rich. One notable winner was a dog catcher in Marfa.If people in pools get special tickets, can't poor people also be in pools and get special tickets? where i worked at was differenti live in texas and worked in texas and rich and poor shell out the same amount of doe here for lotto / the difference being, is, the poor man i see shell out the same as the rich person, where the rich can afford to do it, as the poor cant.the poor do it anyway. they both play the same amount.so, a few years ago, if were in a lottery pool, you wouldnt get your tickets at a store. you would assign the head of the pool to pick them up and put them in a safe deposit... here is what i've noticed from two years of working the lottery counter at my old work. rich people (sadly, i live in a rich neighborhood.) do not want to ever have to deal with being poor again. they are insecure about their wealth, and play the lottery to try to add to it. they also play a lot more than the average player. the average player may buy 1 or 2 tickets for a powerball drawing at the starting jackpot, while a more wealthy person will play upwards of 5-10 tickets. another case. the n... There was a time when the jackpot was real high some guys at IBM put together a plan to try and win the jackpot. They wrote a killer program and tossed the numbers around. I think they took all the numbers that previously came out and did a little or lot of configuring to get their program to work the way they wanted it to. Well, all I can say is wow. You sure must know a lot about working behind the terminal and all. I guess here in Maryland we are a different status quo. NOT. People win regardless of age sex or financial situations. The poor man has the same chance as the rich. So some rich have had a run of financially well off people winning. It might have something to do with success people who are successful have developed skills and such that make it possible for them to create their own good fortune. While people who are poor or desperate to win have an underling failure rate or think that winning is out of the picture for them.Realistically you might find that the less fortunate win just as much if not more than the so called fortunate people.
