A win/win for the planet
Setting the immigration issue aside momentarily I believe in giving full credit where it's due.
This has been and will be a win/win for the planet....

"We Can Make Them Go Home On Their Own!
Neal Boortz, a Libertarian usually comes up with some good workable logical solutions based on law since he is an attorney. From my perspective these sound pretty good especially to force registration compliance for visting worker programs which in NO WAY amounts to amnesty.

An invitation to use your noggins
Morning blogsters:
Those of you who are sending me PMs asking for my advice and opinions about various lotteries and what's going to hit would be doing yourselves a big favor if you pause a moment. Lean back in your chairs and ponder.
You are basing those PMs on a false assumption, which is that I'm a good predictor. I'm not. If you examine my history of prediction, the best day I've got on the record, or series of days, you'll find st...

Florida Daily Front/Back Pair Pays
CASH 3 two digits in Front and Center or Center and Back Pair pays a lot less than the winning three digits. BUT look at how often the wins would increase simply playing and winning the Front Pairs and the Back Pairs.

Now that the fate of the nation is decided...
...Back to the business at hand. Winning the lottery!
As stated earlier, I am on hiatus from systems development until I have a few songs written and recorded. I started off today with 10 hours of work and a 2 hours (round trip) in traffic... I will spend the majority of the remainder of my 36th Birthday working out song ideas and recording some rough tracks before I forget them. Gotta make sure to apply some gloss to this set of songs as one will be released early in 2005 on a compi...

the KWHILBORN experiment (setup)
As any interested hack scientist would, I plan on trying out the concept of transmitting and recieving numbers as described by kwhilborn... I have made up a cool visual aid, a local copy of the powerball results page with blank white and red balls for the next draw (yet to happen).
If I can manage to attain an alpha state (whatever that is) and 'see' the numbers pop into the screen (if it's even that obvious, somehow I doubt it), AND write down what I thought I saw, then record it in...

Fried to a crisp...
Howdy all,
I'm on vacation and still have another week to go and it's a good thing I'll need it to recover. I went out fishing yesterday on the Osage and Missouri River, never caught much, their not biting right now. But I had a blast anyway and that's what it is all about. right Was out there for 6 hours. Now, normally I have a medium to dark complexion anyway but with all the time I've been putting in at work and the extra computer work I do on the side has left me sunless...

Vertical sum spreadsheet version 2 plan
Since the previous 2 systems are focused on a per column approach (because the positional digits are independent), I will stick with a per column approach here as well. That means eliminating the horizontal sum portion, which will simplify the spreadsheet.
The end result will be a cascading sheet, where the groups of columns get shorter as the calculations move across.
The first columns will hold the draw history, the next columns will start ten rows down and sum the 10 ro...

How the pick has changed for this year.
So last year, the process was entirely limited to the classifier output. Pick a line that had all neutral values, the highest when sorted.
This first pick (the match 6 line) was stitched together using the classification AND the follower output.
1. Run both scripts and split screen the output for each.
2. Instead of just picking the highest neutral line or the most frequent follower, find the number in each column that sits highest on BOTH lists.
3. Rec...
