The Iliad
Morning blogsters: Hope all of you are getting the cobwebs out of your punkin heads sufficiently to maximize whatever joy a person gets out of sitting around a Christmas tree unwrapping packages. I overslept here, didn't wake until dawn. Maybe some of this Christmas spirit thing rubbed off on me and disrupted my routines. Nice morning. Quiet outside, cool, but not a shock to hit you when you climb out from under the covers or hit you in the face when you ven...

Bad Ju Ju
My boy was down on the wash the other day, pushing cattle from one pasture to another, when he came across a human skull that had washed up during the recent rains. There were some other things too .... medicine bag, pottery shards. All were older that dirt, the skull was red as the clay it was washed up from, no bullet holes, a natural death for all he knew. At one time, the Anasazi lived along this wash. Petroglyphs are drawn high on the canyon walls and...

Wolves in Arizona
Not far from here, the U.S.Government, in their infinite wisdom, has unleased several packs of Mexican Grey Wolves. These wolves are preying on the rancher's cattle, stalking their children, taking pets for snacks and are on the verge of destroying the local economy. How romantic , the city slickers cheer We have wolves in the wild again . Whether or not a person in sympathetic to cattle and sheep ranching in the American West, there is an...

Rainbow's Glow...
Well now Self, reckon We ought to write something for the attending audience, just for appearences don't you know. This script will be short. We, Self and I, have been very tied up with family business. The death of my childrens mother and trying to get her estate in order has and is very time consuming. Even with an iron-clad will, the state bureaucrats just can't help but sticking their nose in where it ethically and mora...

I love this place to death and I didn't like how someone could have said something bad about this place. *blush* I guess that was something that should be left behind; there will always be those that will hate the place, but there will be alot more that will love it. ---- now for a bit of more history of me ---- Made me think a bit o...

Chris Cuomo vax injured.
So adding more to the mix...... from the article I posted earlier over at the covid discussion. The top scientist says this massive tsunami will collapse hospitals and cause financial, economic, and social chaos. What I am predicting is a massive, massive tsunami of illness and death among highly-vaccinated populations with comp...

Lou Gehrig Day Within hours of his diagnosis with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Pete Frates hung a plaque featuring the legendary Lou Gehrig above his bedroom door frame. For as long as he could, before what is known as Lou Gehrig s Disease robbed him of the ability, Frates would leap and slap that plaque, Notre Dame-style, each time he d leave the room. That s the fighting spirit Gehrig continues to instill in ALS patients, 82 year...
