Woo-Hoo Hoo...another win on the "bad odds" card!
Well I went to another Harris Teeter today and bought this one (the bad odds card) out of the machine won $50 this time but took a chance on the $20 one and won $100 on it thank goodness!
The odds of winning $50 is 1:9:45
And of winning $100 is 1:25.53
These are the worst odds of any card NCEL has but they sur...

Making money on scratch off tickets could be a myth!
I have 6 years of experience both selling and playing scratch offs in different states. Every state has different system and percentage in the amount they pay off on scratch offs. There is no general standing rule on this for all the states to be uniform. Similarly, the logic of winning in every 3 or 4 tickets or not winning any in a row for 6 or seven tickets happens very frequently. Both scenarios are true. But, there is no guarantee that there will be a winner after a set number of tickets...

Theoretically How you could be in your own Hollywood movie 1 in 2 odds OR 1 in 3 odds
Again this is theoretically speaking...Suppose you was a college major majoring in theater and you dream of 1 day been in your own Hollywood movie....Theoretically speaking you could...But it will take you 10 years to have your first appearance and it doesn't mean that you will have the biggest role plus it will cost you 200 dollars a month for 10 years...Plus i means that you will have a 1 in 2 odds of comming out in a movie...Here is how it goes...
again have in mind that this is...

I've seen the ads on the terminals here in GA for them.......but just now thought about posting this.
I would have thought they woulda done this by now. At the top of the terminal, I saw the ad for a new game coming soon with the biggest payout percentage in GA history.
The ticket.......

More loony people than anyone suspects
Just random observations but I can't go a week without seeing something that convinces me there are a lot more crazy people out there than anyone suspects:
Here we go: ( my comment in italics):
We were in church when the pastor's baby was baptized by the bishop. The baby was about two months old. During the baptism, the bishop said, referring to the baby, She'll always remember this day.
Hello! No, she won't, she can't even talk right now....

What would success look like?
Systems and strategies come and go, I have worked on several over the years.
With any system, what does success look like?
On a new add to my system, the simple pick 2 is a 1 in 100 chance of being right. Once could be merely coincidence. How many hits would be needed in what time frame to consider the system a success?
It is different for jackpot games as that only needs to work once.
This is where I fall back to profitability.
I am curr...

Lottery Math: Why the Numbers Aren't the Most Interesting Part
Lottery Math: Why the Numbers Aren t the Most Interesting Part
Most people think lottery math is about odds.
They re wrong.
The real story of lottery mathematics lives at the intersection of probability, psychology, and economics and it reveals more about the human mind than about numbers on a ticket.
1. The Brutal Simplicity of the Odds
Let s get the obvious out of the way.
In a typical large lottery:...

Fantasy Blues
What's up with numbers repeating lately? Perhaps I should start playing repeat numbers? It's all still a gamble though because you have to decide which numbers are gonna repeat and you can't know which numbers are gonna repeat. The last two midday draws it was 19 and 20 that's even more of an anomaly. Its not just repeat numbers it's consecutive numbers. Fantasy 5 is the easiest draw game to win in terms of odds but still so difficult to win....

i'm officially off the Mega Millions game!
The sons of guns raised the price to five freakin dollars? So what the astronomical odds were improved by a tiny bit - it's still astronomical. They had a meeting of the minds and thought they could make us hamsters run a little harder on the wheel. It's just not worth it. If there's even a prayer that this could be reversed they would have to take a severe hit to sales, even when the jackpot reached record amounts. You know they are probably watching results to...
