MM Thought
Well I am sitting here in front of my Compaq 7500 series from walmart and I just realized that by 8:30 p.m. tonight I could be a large prize winner in the Mega Millions drawing. That would be nice getting $10,000 or $250,000 or the big one $78 million. I think of all the little things that would change like being debt free owning a new home worth millions. MM-$78,809,085 cash
Well if I am going to be the Mega Millions jackpot winner I have 7 drawings to do it in. That is the remaining draws left on my multi-draw ticket. So we will see if I can get lucky and if I do it will be party mode for the rest of my days. $39 million is a nice chunk of cash to go buck wild with. I would get down and dirty with that money. LOTTO
Well I cashed in my $2 winner and got a $2 megabucks ticket. $1 with the Kicker for $2. Then I got a $5 ticket with kicker for $10. The jackpot tonight is $4.8 million and that is $2.4 million in cash before the tax man takes half. So about $1.2 million between me and mother that is enough for some fun but not get too crazy. I could get out of debt and so could she. We both have small bills now because she does not have the mortgage any more to worry about....

MM/PB Annuity
I was doing the taxes on the annuity for both Mega Millions and Powerball today to see what I could get if I choose annuity on the game. It is a nice little payout if you like an annual check I think MM worked out to like $380,769 for 26 payments. Powerball was in the first year $490,327 and the last year was $1,529,161 so I guess they are nice pay outs. But it always depends on the winners personal choice I would be tempted to go either way because of the advantages of both...

Well I have been playing the powerball regularly for the past nine years and in that time I have managed to obtain no higher than a 4+0 prize level. Every year since 1997 my new years resolution is not loss weight, not a love interest, but to win the powerball jackpot. This new years will be my tenth resolution and it is going to be different. I'm finally home from work...sitting here, chatting on the comp...I have my CT Cash 5, Classic Lotto and Mega Millions tickets for tonight in front of me, and my Powerball and NY Lotto for tomorrow.
