Match 6 in PA is still rolling that jackpot...
As of last night, the rolling 6/49 is at $5,860,000. This is a slow roll, as the jackpot does not go up much with each draw. The first ticket played this week matched 3/6 ($2) and 5/18 ($5). Coding issue... bonus balls.
I have my build script down to a single function that works flawlessly for scraping the PA lottery website for the full histories of the following games... Pick 2,3,4 and 5 mid and eve Match 6, Cash 5, Treasure Hunt. The issue... only able to grab the white balls from Cash 4 Life, Power Ball and Mega Millions. Why? QP data is collected, now for the difficult part...
After collecting QP data for a week's worth of Power Ball (Monday/Wednesday/Saturday) and the Mega Millions (Tuesday/Friday) from 3 different locations, I can see how truly bad QPs are. Not one set of 3 QPs managed to pull in more than one white ball match, and zero bonus ball matches... Obviously One Arizona player got lucky in the MM draw last night, and looking at the payout, only 9 PA players managed a 4 out of 5 without the bonus ball... And so it begins, the analysis...

Calibrating the new script with the pick 3
The process will be to generate picks for both the mid day and evening PA pick 3. This is paper play (no tickets bought) and the new draws will be the targets. Adjusting the number of recent draws to capture with the goal being the lowest number of draws needed to pick correctly.
