Hang problem seems to be solved.
Threading and learning a new language / platform can be a challenge, but it all worked out well we think.
We discovered a few things with Silverlight and C# pretty much the hard way; well worth it though.
First, it was the problem of getting information / data into and outof a thread without getting some freakin' error; worse yet hang and do nothing.

Gruntwork part of Phase III virtually complete. I still have to perform display error checks on some of the existing files but that'll be easy enough. The data is sound. I'll be preparing the files for uploading over the weekend. .pdf files will have to wait - about two months before their completion - but the HTML files will be sent and posted. Actual generation of the .pdf files may bec...

Tattoos Firmly Mainstream, Survey Says
WASHINGTON (June 10) - A sun shines on Dan Yu's back, alongside a swimming koi fish. A tree soon may grow on his arm.
"Your body's an empty canvas, so you almost want to continue to add to it," said Yu, 28, as he showed off his tattoos.
According to a survey about 3...

Turkey prep hints for the unanointed
I know. It s not natural .
But if you re planning to cook a frozen turkey you ll be well advised to heed this word of advice learned by trial and error.
Before you pop that bird in the oven, reach inside from the opposite direction you d figure and feel around a bit. There s a better than even chance you ll discover a plastic bag full of stuff they thought was too good to throw away, but not good enough to keep and sell, dow...
