Jennifer Gerson Uffalussy Contributing Writer
I see that Speedy has posted an article by her. I personally don't have much faith in anything she could write about. She is a Hillary big-time fan. She needs to interview some of the NFL players about locker room banter. Even in high school, what do the boys talk about in locker rooms Speedy? If you were an high school athlete, you did the same thing. My common sense tells me, girls do the same thing in locker rooms and bath room. Just another Liberal writer ranting....

Goodbye Darryl
When I learned of your passing today, I felt very sad. I never even met you, but I remember that day in 1978 when all of us in Boston anxiously sat in front of our TV sets, praying you'd walk out of that hospital. You never did. I can't imagine being one of the best NFL receivers one day and waking up the next paralyzed. I think I'd be depressed, bitter and lose all faith in God. But you used your faith to heal your spirit and help others. Whe...

More loony people than anyone suspects
Just random observations but I can't go a week without seeing something that convinces me there are a lot more crazy people out there than anyone suspects: Here we go: ( my comment in italics): We were in church when the pastor's baby was baptized by the bishop. The baby was about two months old. During the baptism, the bishop said, referring to the baby, She'll always remember this day. Hello! No, she won't, she can't even talk right now....

NFL Report
Well we are closing up Week 13 in the NFL. Sitting pretty on the leader board in the AFC is 1.Colts 10-2 1.San Diego 10-2 3.Pats 9-3 3.Ravens 9-3. Now in the NFC is 1.Chicago 10-2* 2.Dallas 8-4 2.New Orleans 8-4 2.Seattle 8-4. *Chicago has clinched the first playoff spot for the NFC this season with their 10th win of the season. I only like to talk about the leaders because right now these are the teams that have a realistic chance a...

NFL-Note
I was reading the standings for the NFL just a little bit ago. One thing that pops out at me is that the AFC is alot more clear cut about who is in the front and who is chasing the divisional leaders. But the NFC is still wide open for alot of the divisions which means that these last games of the regular season will tell who is in for the playoff run. We are really going to see who the contenders are and who the pretenders are in 2006. I still say that the Colts and t...

Saturday
Well I'm feeling better than I did Thursday. I'm managed to hit only one pick four Friday but there were only four of five winners on the board so I'm happy to be one of them. I have some pick three numbers out there today that I think are going to fall, so hopefully I'll bring someone some luck or hit myself because I'm also playing all the numbers I have listed here in IL. As for pick four I'm going with good combinations good for all states. I hate going good for all states but I don't hav...

John Fox: Jay Cutler day-to-day with shoulder injury
The Bears don't think quarterback Jay Cutler is done for the season just yet. Coach John Fox said that Cutler's right shoulder injury is not season-ending, contrary to the reports you hear. He added that he is not sure if Cutler will definitely be out against the Titans on Sunday. My experience with Jay, he's a tough son of a gun, Fox said, so he doesn't go typical of the lengths people put into it as far as w...
