IE8 beta probably released too early
I installed and tried out the new IE8 beta, which was released to developers today. IMHO, it was pushed out the door too quickly even for a beta. I would call it more of an alpha . Case in point: Microsoft's own site crashed the browser. Normally I'll leave a beta browser on my computer for at least a couple/few days to give it a fair shake, but IE8 was so unusable that I had to uninstall it within an hour. Yup, that bad. I am very excite...

Home Invasion
I always felt safe in this sleepy bedroom town. Taking a stroll on the beach at night to look at the stars was a peaceful way to release my anxiety and fears and talk to my Higher Power. In the past 10 years the population has doubled, there are now tall concrete condos on the beach road, tacky touristy stores, and traffic is a nightmare. Then the criminals from the east coast began to invade our peaceful community. Now Bonita Springs, once a dot on a map betwee...

NASA on Monday will broadcast the Beatles' song "Across the Universe" across the galaxy to Polaris, the North Star. Thankfulness
I Am Glad I Picked You I saw you across a crowded room. Among all the others that were there, The lights seemed to shine down on you alone. I knew then I had to have you for my own. Willingly, you came with me to my home. From the car, I carried you threw the door. Looking at you ,I admire your body, your well shaped legs, and breasts. Slowly I remove what wraps, around your body so tighly, fitting you like a glove....

Is Earth near its 'tipping points' from global warming?
Earth is spinning toward many points of no return from the damage of global warming, after which disease, desolation and famine are inevitable, say scientists involved in an international report due Friday on the effects of climate change. Opinions vary about how long it will take to reach those tipping points and whether attempts to cut planet-warming gases churned out by power plants, vehicles and other human industry can slow, h...

The Long Riders
That Dirty Little Coward Who Shot Mister Howard And laid pore Jesse in his grave. From T he Ballad of Jesse James , whom I don't know who wrote it. All I know is my granddaddy used to sing it to me. A while back I was doing some research for my friend Marsh concerning an attempt to authenticate a tintype he'd purchased. It might be a previously unknown image of Bob Younger shortly after he was released from prison. If so...
