Passing the time while in a cycle
The nice part about running in 4 week and 2 week cycles is not needing to be constantly updating the draw history. It is just as easy to grab the next 28 draws of Match 6 and the next 28 draws of pick 3 as it is to update weekly. There is an advantage to not updating during the test... I can run the program again in the exact state it was in when I made my selection to see how the pick may have been interpreted differently. When the paper play on the pick 3 reaches 14 days...

The PA Match 6 option
Thinking about the wait on wins for the pick 3 brings up another option... the Match 6. If it were played in 7 draw increments, it would cost the same as the pick 3, $14 per week... a window of 28 days is just playing the same combo 4 weeks in a row. Sure the Quick Pick lines would change each week, but it fits the budget perfectly... park the pick 3 attempt for 4 weeks... if only the lower tier prizes were better... As I approach the halfway poin...

Winless first day of week 3
Day pick 3 was a flop, same with day pick 5 Evening pick 3 had 1 number in position, evening pick 5 had 3 numbers in position... It seemed like a good time to go for the pick 5, as the previous 2 weeks contained no all neutral draws. The evening pick 5 pattern was HCNNN. Since I am essentially playing consecutive games of 1 in 10, I got 3 right. Was that the best shot for the week? Time will tell. Perhaps an interesting area of study...
