How to pick one number to play
I look at the past 20 draws stats for the hot and cold balls. wheel your numbers out. Look at your draw history. Pick the number you want to play from looking at the draw history. From the draw history I like the 201 to play. I pick my straight position from the exact pairs from the previous draws. I posted another set of predictions for NJ Pick 6 for The upcoming Monday draw. My methodology in picking the 15 numbers was very basic: 5 cold, 5 average, and 5 hot. I used the NJ Pick 6 Statistics page, configured for the past 50 draws. What's nice is that by sorting on the Times Drawn column, I can easily pick out numbers from various hot-cold ranges....

First week of pick 3 using the all neutral QP generator
Ran it exactly once after updating the draw histories. There are less than 20 lines of code, and some are comments left for forgetful future me... Only 8 lines longer for the pick 5 version which is not going to see use without a pick 3 win. The Cash 4 Life version is under 10 lines! Easy pick, as yet to be determined effectiveness. One observation while testing the C4L version, random.sample(population,5) presents the QP in descending order....
