The Nation on Obama...
The president set this trap himself; now Boehner will spring it on him. Does Obama not remember how Democrats lost control of the House back in 2010? The party got very little credit for enacting health care reform because the Republicans had already demonized the accomplishment as a threat to the much-beloved program of Medicare. The rightwingers promised to save Medicare from bloodthirsty Democrats by repealing Obama's new reform program. This was all a ridiculous lie, of course, but t...

America is going to collapse Friday
Kids are going to go hungry. Massive layoffs will occur. People will become homeless. Aircraft carriers will not be refueled. ______________________________ Maybe they should cancel that order for 1.5 billion rounds of non defense ammo. What does ammo cost? About $.50 per round. That is 750 million dollars right there. Obama has been running a deficit of about 1 trillion per year more than the Bush years. Where is Obama spending this...

A Healthy economy depends on consumer spending.
The stupidest statements I have heard in this campaign season have been repeated often by Republicans of all stripes running for political office, They are Keep small business doing what they do best, create jobs. What a business better do best is sell a product. If a business does not sell its products,it is NOT going to hire anyone. Henry Ford and FDR showed us that the middle class and the poor must have money to spend to buy these products or the economy WILL...

The NEW and Historically Revised Republican Debt Clock?
The Republicans are counting on Americans being stupid and having a short memory. In 2001 when President Clinton handed America over to George W. Bush we had a budget surplus, the Debt clock was going down. But during the 8 years America was under Republican control The Republicans turned Clinton's surplus into trillions of dollars of debt. During the Bush years Republicans didn't care about deficit spending. Cheney famously said, Reagan taught us t...

The Mormon and The Catholic!
Willard mitt Romney AND Paul Ryan. I didn't think Willard was that stupid to take Paul Ryan as his running mate.I was wrong,HE IS! Paul Ryan,a devout catholic, and avid follower of Ayn Rand,an anti Government Conservative Icon, avid pro abortionist and atheist who he credited with being the reason he went into politics. It was doubtful Romney could take Wisconsin anyway because of Gov.Scott Walkers anti-labor philosophy.NOW it's definitely out of reach. W...

Obamacare = $1 Trillion In New Taxes
CBO: Obamacare levies $1 trillion in new taxes President Obama s health care law raises taxes by $1 trillion, according to a new report from the Congressional Budget Office. The individual mandate which the CBO calls a penalty tax, in apparent deference to Chief Justice John Roberts will produce $55 billion in penalty payments by uninsured individuals, the CBO told House Speaker John B...

Debt problem
I am not an economist but to pay the current monthly obligations or any monthly obligation when credit is available I can see one option. With debt due in full plus interest and the monthly revenue the gov't takes in they need to cut expenses to cover the interest. Pay the full obligation plus interest with expense cutting to cover interest. Immediately sell new debt bonds or notes to cover the principle paid prior. With the Gov't bailing out these financial instituti...
