Budget always in mind when creating "systems"
One of the main reasons I have always tried to develop a straight shot system is of course the cost. One ticket is cheaper than a group of tickets. Coding can be fun.. honest!
Backtest script is underway for the PA pick 3 eve... the entire history! Wil take a bit over 4 hours to run. I spent the better part of this morning making sure the csv file was writing correctly, and it did, then I needed a blank row between the classifier output, that was easy as well. Calibrating the new script with the pick 3
The process will be to generate picks for both the mid day and evening PA pick 3. This is paper play (no tickets bought) and the new draws will be the targets. Adjusting the number of recent draws to capture with the goal being the lowest number of draws needed to pick correctly. Saw where someone suggested people predicting be required to show the system they are using for their predictions. My first thoughts were they don t understand predictions, the difference between a system and playing strategy, or both. Many of the daily number games predictors use the same group of combos in every jurisdiction. Don t see any reason to know how they arrived at those combos when some groups never change for months.
