Missouri lottery being goofy.
I remember when it would give just one set of numbers, then it changed to 10. I remember when the payout max was $2 million on pick 3 and pick 4. I remember when the repeats were not so notorious. I remember getting a lot of quick picks, straight and str/box, winning $600, or $350 and spending it on my grandkids. I can not remember being this off...

Parts of the PA Cash4Life that did NOT require overthinking
I originally thought that I would need to change the ranges per column... i did not! Instead I just run the report for the whole column from 1 to 60. I knew I would need to change the threshold on each side of the expectancy, but I only needed to introduce a scalar variable and set it to 1.5, so 1.5 standard deviations on both sides define the Hots and Colds properly. This was as simple as passing in the scalar value to the function... which means it can easily be modified....

Here in PA, they started the pick 5 (aka Quinto) for both day and evening on the same date. Same game, same rules, DIFFERENT pick mechanisms... day is computer based while the night still uses the ping pong ball mechanical method. Pick 2 was done the same way, on the same day.
