A group of seven coworkers from SAIA Motor Freight Line in East Houma took the day off Monday to collect $200,000 in winnings from the Louisiana Lottery Headquarters. The Quick Pick ticket netted then the $200,000 was purchased at Cajun Magic Truck Stop on East Main Street in Houma. The Truck Stop will recieve a $2000 bonus for selling the winning ticket. NC Lottery nets $8 million
Lottery Officials gave out three top prizes on friday to first day winners. Richard Garland of Newton won from a Carolina Cash instant win ticket $100,000 minus the taxes. Army Sgt. James Greene won $10,000 with a ticket he purchased in Fayetteville. Steve Moore of Candler won a $5000 prize off the ticket Tic Tac Toe . Pub late on Lottery payment
A Cross lanes pub named Brewster's is owned by Jack Whittaker didn't have enough funds to cover what they owed the West Virginia Lottery Commission for running Video Lottery machines. Mr. Whittaker showd up to the Lottery Headquarters with his lawyer to pay the overdue money and asked for more time to figure out why the payment was late.
