lotto purchases today
well a good week for checking tickets. i had three tickets come due and i won on two of them. i hit on my washington quinto ticket of all things. i picked up $1.00 on that. my trip to missouri in september netted me another winner on powerball. no i am not one of the new millionaires but the dream was nice. i picked up a $15 win. i hit the powerball only and got the 5 time multiplyer. so i will be getting a check in the mail in the future....

More tickets
Well I told my mother about the jackpot when she got home from work on friday and she handed me a $10 bill for tickets and I had $10 that I was saving for wednesday's draw. But I got up this saturday morning with a little bit of lotto fever so I got me a $2 snack from the deli and 9 lines of powerball with powerplay. I am just waiting for my numbers to come up and I am hoping for a 4+1 or higher prize as always. So for tonight's draw I have 14 lines of powerball...

Oregon Megabucks
I am not a fan of my state lottery game Megabucks at all. I will admit that I do play the game from time to time but it is when the jackpot is over 10 million which takes between 3 and 4 months to grow that high. For me that jackpot growth is to slow that is why Megabucks gets the thumbs down in my book. I might try to make up a profiling only sheet for the powerball... containing nothing but gross filter data... even/odd, decades, and a few others. perhaps a profile combined with the other pick from stats could help steer things in a better direction... I was 2 off for the first 2 numbers ,the rest was a disaster (off by 12 to 19 in each position!) what is most disappointing is that I am no closer now to predicting the powerball numbers than I was when I first started playin...

Errors in prediction for powerball are actually getting worse... I should try removing the average... see what it does to the pick... I will play 2 tix this wednesday, one as it is now and one without the long/short term averages. I have a reason for using mode and median, not average... and forecast is still a wildcard... maybe I should generate 3 picks... it's only $6 ;-) I can't believe I am no further along with powerball picks than I was last april... disappointing....
