same Ga. Cash 3 number hitting straight 3 days in a row all midday?
this part kolars, Humans are very good at spotting patterns. It takes far more data (or physical evidence) to imply an unfair drawing no, AI is what gave me that data, I just asked what are the odds impossible odds are just that impossible! Just like if a bunch of triples start to fall frequently that would be near to impossible, because they are only 10 triples out of 1000 combinations.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I totally agree that it's people who make things a headache. If I were to win something like Powerball, the majority would go into laddered treasury bills, with some in an S P 500 index fund. The last thing I would do is start my own business or invest in any sort of risky business venture. People go broke because they think this sudden windfall of money has given them some sort of insight on how to invest, start or run a business. If you weren't doing any of that before winning the lottery jack

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Lets see if the MSUL gets the hint in another 7 months...... Here is my proposal for improved lottery sales.....Have a 3rd option.......... Start a new $1 game, make the odds 1/305 million for the jackpot( smidge more than the old MM odds).....Test it out for a year. See how things go. That way, they surely will know what is a success and what is a failure. Just food for thought

because in lotteries the more you study, the more difficult it becomes to predict the next draw
The only way to truly increase your odds is to place more bets, since each bet represents a unique chance to win. Therefore, betting on more numbers or syndicates increases your chances, but also costs more. Playing in a syndicate increases your odds of winning but does NOT cost more. And in some cases cost less.

Help Me Understand This 😭
As a player should the focus be on the odds of winning or how often people are winning regardless? How often (other) people win matters in two ways. If somebody else wins the same drawing you do you only get your share of the jackpot. If anybody won recently the jackpot is less than it is when nobody has won for a longer period of time. I can hope to reduce my chances of sharing a jackpot by choosing a combination I think most players wouldn't choose (and I'd prefer that there was no QP opt

* Anytime there are as many tries as there are possible outcomes than chance of a hit are 63.21%. Chance of getting a 1 when rolling a die 6 times: 63.21%. Chance of drawing the ace of spades when choosing 1 card from a freshly shuffled deck 52 times: 63.21%. Chance of winning P3 if you play it 1000 individual times: 63.21% . Interesting! This is an different perspective on the odds. Most texts talk about the number of draws it takes to have a 50/50 chance of hitting. Thanks for this differ

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
Excellent observation. The probability of winning the jackpot with one ticket is equal to the probability of matching all five white balls times the probability of matching the Powerball. There are 26 Powerballs, so the probability of matching the Powerball is 1/26. Let X be equal to the probability of matching all five white balls. Thus, the probability of winning the jackpot is X*1/26. The probability of winning a million dollars (5+0) is the probability of matching all five white

Is there any method or system that can an predict the first digit that will fall in Pick 3
That's one way to play, keep buying tickets until you have a sufficiently large chance of winning. This is what professionals do when a jackpot is really big, to the point that the expected value of a ticket is greater than its face value. But under normal circumstances, it wouldn't make any sense to buy up all the combinations when there are millions of them. You'll spend more on tickets than the jackpot. Take Pick 3 for example. It's not difficult for one person to buy 1,000 ticket
