So if you find a winning formula, it's considered fraud?
An individual who can beat a game like pick 3, statistically beyond just being lucky, is engaging in fraud. That's not a system (since all systems are worthless), that's a crime. That someone is putting weighted balls in the machine or uploading a program for the RNG to choose numbers of their choosing (Eddie Tipton). Without cheating, pick 3 is not beatable. The rolling jackpot games are beatable if the jackpot gets large enough and one has the resources to buy all the combinations. If

UK Lotto
Out of curiosity, I was looking up results for the UK Lotto draw. There were some unusual results for today's draw. Normally, there is on average one winner of the second tier prize. Today, there were 5 winners. For the jackpot prize, it is usually won once every 8 draws or so. Today, there were 4 winning tickets. The jackpot was 2 million. But each winning ticket received 1 million for a total of 4 million. There must be a rule where the minimum prize awarded is 1 million. The winning n

Games most played
I mostly play Lucky for Life - the beauty is that if you match two numbers you win a prize and it's more than the cost of the ticket. Second most played is Powerball. When it gets to 50 M after taxes am in. Once in a while I throw a dollar at the 2by2 - the jackpot is always 22K. Bottom line, I spend what I can afford to give away. Good luck

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
4 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $1,000,000 prize: 1 from California, 1 from New Jersey, 1 from New York, and 1 from Ohio That is a sign that more tickets are being purchased, we are getting closer to a purchase frenzy when and if it hits the 500M mark. I feel that players are re allocating their MM funds to PB. I did not match any number in yesterday's draw, but we move on to Saturday with renewed spirits Good luck to all.

I know that this is technically not a lottery question, it's about PCH Sweepstakes bankruptcy .
He bought a house using a mortgage -- moron! I've got a suspicion he's not the best decision maker out there, but a 30 year mortgage at 2016ish rates may be a very sensible decision, especially if you're borrowing about 500k. Most of the 30k in annual payments would be deductible interest for the first few years. That turns a rate of 3.5% into an actual cost of perhaps 2.6%, and it frees up a bunch of money for investing if you're smart enough to do it. A 30 year mortgage also lets you buy

Secrets of a lottery lawyer-Kurt Panouses interview
That explains him blaming lottery officials for his being a poor lottery player. You don't know that there's no such thing as a poor Lottery player ? Or even a good one for that matter? Even Kurt Panouses said in one of those BW videos that his clients all have one big thing in common - They're all very LUCKY I've got some trouble with something else you revealed about yourself in a different LP thread. You said you liked Florida's Governor. That's all well and good, but you're also ti

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
Good day; We have the Pick 2 game (00 - 99) here in Ontario and its the only game I spend a lot of time on trying to snag a win. I've done all kinds of back testings workouts and analysis and the closes I've come to a win is to match the 1st digit of the winning pair which was played. I'm now focusing on double digits ex: 11 00 99 etc to appear but their hit frequencies are few and far between. Hopefully, one of these days I'll get lucky. By the way, thanks for shedding a lig

Never did this before
No, actually I do work on the casino floor. When one of my players hits a jackpot for $2,000, I'm not going to look them up in player tracking to see that they lost $3,000 today, prior to that one spin, and then go over there and say oh hi Krystal I see you've LOST $1,000 today! Get a grip. When someone wins $2,000 on a slot machine, that one spin is a winner. I do get sore winners who whine that they've lost $3,000 in order to win $2,000 just now. That's their problem. Tables does the
