Can't expect folks to purchase a chance , when you increase the price by 150 % with bloviated promises of bigger 2nd tier prizes, easier winning opportunities and forced purchasing options. It's not the only game in town. But I do wish the participants much luck.

The Mega Millions jackpot is now $348 million. The jackpot increased by only $22 million. This was less than the previous increase of $24 million. The gap between the Mega Millions jackpot and the Powerball jackpot continues to grow. It increased by $2 million with this draw.

This is correct. Lottery sales actually increase in poor economic conditions. It is a leading indicator of recession. People play when they get desperate mainly scratch tickets and a study in WA showed people spend more proportionately from unemployment checks vs paychecks adjusted for amount.

The Measly Millions has rolled over(#21) once again, which is a good thing for all MM players.
The projected new Cash Value increase from the previous draw is $8.6 Million. That is down from the previous increase of $8.8 Million on 5/29/26.

What matters is their profit margin.
It really does seem like a lot of people just can't figure that out.
After millions of people threw away $5 on the new game format, I wonder how many of them will come back for more punishment
Most of them, I'd imagine. They're only doing it $2 at a time, but about twice as many people keep on doing it with PB tickets.
Hopefully the folks at PB are reading this and will not follow suit and destroy their game as well.

I am astounded that you played the same numbers for twenty years. I am impressed by your persistence and patience. I am actually curious. Did you play the same numbers for Powerball, Mega Millions, and the other lotteries in your state? The Mega Millions jackpot increased by $13 million to $163 million after 11 rolls. There is an estimated 1.6% chance the Mega Millions jackpot will be won in the next draw. The jackpot is now fully funded from sales and starting to increase by more than the minimum $10 million.
The Powerball jackpot is still slowly catching up to the Mega Millions jackpot. The Mega Millions jackpot is $45 million larger than the Powerball jackpot. A week ago, it was $64 million larger.
