Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I bought my MM for 8/22 as promised. I was so lucky that I got a 5x on my ticket. After the draw, I matched nada I feel that the more the multiplier value on your ticket, the more the pressure one feels to win anything. It's hard to get the 5x and the 10x, and when you have it, you want to make it count. Oh well, that's now in the past. Good luck to all in the PB draw tonight.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Congratulations to you! My luck has not been nearly so good. I said in a previous message that even before I started my saving for the Big One routine that I had been on a *long* no win streak. Sadly, the streak is now continuing. Since PB passed the 200 Mil cash value mark about 6 draws ago I have been buying 3 tickets per draw just to be in the game as well as saving $6 per draw for the Big One . I have only hit 1 number 4 times out of 18 tickets purchased, mixed between some quick pi

Lottery money for education
I believe that the government money goes to the physical plant, staff, teachers, food for breakfasts and lunches, and so on. The supplies mentioned are what the parents are supposed to supply their children with - notebooks, paper, pencils, rulers, etc. Some kids from less fortunate families would not have any of this if not for the donations. That is what the lists by teachers are for. The teachers are not making lists for desks, school buses, playground equipment, etc., but for the very basic

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
The last two jackpot wins were unusually low, statistically speaking. For the $348M win, there were 7 million tickets sold. 7 million tickets with a 1 in 290 million chance of winning means the probability that no one wins it is 97.6%. 2.4% chance that someone would win is pretty small but it can happen, and it did. For the $112M win, there were only 5.4 million tickets sold. 5.4 million tickets with a 1 in 290 million chance of winning means the probability that no one wins it is 98.2%

LOTTERY POST 25TH ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY #2
If I won a substantial jackpot, I would initially say my ritual Thank You Jesus and take deep breaths in order to center myself. Next, I would seek out financial expertise and arrange the following: .gifts to my immediate family members ...siblings and children and grands .increase/establish life insurance policies for the aforementioned .make a donation to various community organizations ... Church/Scholarships/Make A Wish/etc. .pay it forward to select multiple LP members t

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I saw your later correction and it is no problem. I seem to do the same thing in posts - hit the post button and then find my foul-ups. I know what you mean about feeling the loss greater of $200.00-$500.00 or more all at once. It certainly appears to be more of a big spender kind of move, but it is exactly the same amount as playing one ticket each drawing. With me being a numbers kind of guy with a good measure of self-control I DO keep that in mind and so do not really let it get to me.

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
Each ticket does not cover 150 million combinations. Each MM or PB ticket kind of does cover 146 million combinations. Because both games have an even number of choices for the power/mega ball exactly half of the possible combinations have an even number power/mega ball and exactly half of the possible combinations have an odd number power/mega ball. That means that your choice of power/mega ball on each ticket guarantees that you can only win the jackpot if one of the 146 million combinati

Lucky For Life to Millionaire For Life - $5 Ticket
For me ... I play lucky 4 life maybe twice a week (like it was mon Thur originally) when pb and or mm are below the 250 million threshold for me to jump into those games . Now with the merged millionaire 4 life and the three dollar increase in price .... I'll still play but only once per week. I look forward to the new game but I'm not going gaga over it. What will the matrix look like? Will it still be a twenty year annuity? Will there be a cash option? All questions to

The Most Essential Skillset To Beat The Lottery
Something I should have added to my original post...... I couldn't care less if the lottery is random or not. I pay absolutely no attention to anybody that thinks it is. Hell, I don't even care what those that think it's not random have to say! I've never won a jackpot in the 25+ years I've been playing the lottery. At best I've had modest success using the number behaviors that I mentioned. I mainly play Pick5 games. I can't count the number of Pick5 Free Tickets I've won. I can match t
