Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
But, I am curious... Annuity or cash value , what would your target amount be?
In all honesty, a $5M cash value after all taxes is a life changer for me and for 300 million other people.
Having said that, it would be fun to win 100M.
If I play PB with $2 and not win anything, it would hurt as much as saving $100 and putting it all in a 1B jackpot and win nothing.
The loss would feel greater.
I wish you luck with the strategy.

Good new on the MEASLY MILLIONS front... The cash value ticked up a projected $100K for Friday 5/22/26. Perhaps it's a sign of Bigger, Faster jackpots that the participants were advised of. Good luck to all that are players of this game.

I see the Measly Millions rolled last night. Congrats to all the players that participated.
Just some FYI for those that are dedicated souls to playing this game of chance.

Lucky For Life to Millionaire For Life - $5 Ticket
For me ... I play lucky 4 life maybe twice a week (like it was mon Thur originally) when pb and or mm are below the 250 million threshold for me to jump into those games .
Now with the merged millionaire 4 life and the three dollar increase in price .... I'll still play but only once per week.
I look forward to the new game but I'm not going gaga over it.
What will the matrix look like?
Will it still be a twenty year annuity?
Will there be a cash option?
All questions to

my idea for a multi-state lottery
I think you've made a mistake, presumably in point 4. You know the chance of matching 6 of 68 is 1 in 109.45 million, so you should expect 1 jackpot winner for every 109.45 million tickets. With 10 cents from each ticket going to the jackpot you'll have just under $11 million each time you pay a winner $25 million. You could do that with an annuity, but if you hand out cash you have a problem. To fully fund a cash prize of $25 million you'd need 22.84 cents from each ticket to go to the jackpot.

4) 10 cents of each ticket gets added to the jackpot.
Thoughts?

They had to have cheated.
Don't be ridiculous. It's so easy to win there's no reason to cheat even if you could.
One complaint would justify being upset with the price increase, a constant complaint is overkill.
You know that there are two of you that are making your complaint over and over, right?
I could understand someone like Elon Musk calling $10 million measly
I don't imagine anyone here actually thinks any of the advertised jackpots are chump change, but so far I do

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The supported jackpot is $69.7 million whereas in the previous run, the supported jackpot was $66.9 million.
And the cash value is now 41.9 vs 39.9. The annuity value is 4.19% higher than in the previous run, but cash value, which is a direct measurement of sales is 4.77% higher. That may be an indication that as players buy in when the jackpot gets bigger the $5 price becomes something they're okay with at lower jackpot levels, too.
Or it might just be because very high jackpots tend t

If You Won BIG, Would You Perform Risk Management?
A few factors would play into my path forward:
1. After tax amount won. Is it $200M take home? Taking the Annuity or Cash Value(roughly 46% of $200M) minus fed taxes ?
2. Estimation of years life left(plus 5).
3. Purchase of Gold and Silver to cover life expenses for at least 25 years - through private sales and places such as APMEX/Hero Bullion etc.
4. Cash on hand(depends on #1)
5. CDs at multiple local banking facilities
6. Hire the professional....There are numerous
