I saw your later correction and it is no problem. I seem to do the same thing in posts - hit the post button and then find my foul-ups. I know what you mean about feeling the loss greater of $200.00-$500.00 or more all at once. It certainly appears to be more of a big spender kind of move, but it is exactly the same amount as playing one ticket each drawing. With me being a numbers kind of guy with a good measure of self-control I DO keep that in mind and so do not really let it get to me.

if dc lottery goes the entire month of april drawing only singles for pick 5 twice a day, and i believe they will, the probability of that happening randomly due to chance is 0.3024^60. that works out to odds of 1 in 14,624,896,128,737,864,992,086,076,360,054. that is a 32-digit number. for comparison, the number of atoms in the human body is about 7 x 10^27, which is a 28-digit number.

Pick 4 and Pick 3 are all doing the same thing as the 5 also. That 3rd late night drawing done on pick 3 and 4 don't include that. Just traditional midday and evening

Randomly drawn numbers have no memory of the previous drawing and then say oh, we need a double this time, it's been too long . They're random. There are so many possible patterns humans can observe that, given enough drawings, the chances of observing some kind of pattern are guaranteed.
