While the revenue is being talked about and consideration is being given to what percent is being generated at a certain dollar value, people are also not including the starting point of $50 Million which, IMHO, is another bells and whistles gimmick in this new improved MM version from MUSL. The Powerball jackpot was won in the April 29 draw with two winning tickets. There was only a 3.5% estimated chance the jackpot would be won. Are heads starting to roll?
The Michigan lottery commissioner abruptly resigned yesterday. There was a decline in revenue in 2024 and I'm wondering if 2025 revenue is either flat or declining. If so does it have anything to do with the Mega Millions? I'm sure the LP is digging into it and will have a story soon. Maybe it's just a coincidence that the resignation happened so quickly after the person at Mega Millions was changed?

We have our pool tickets for the next Mega Millions draw. This time we got one ticket with a 5 times multiplier and one ticket with a 10 times multiplier. It is great getting the bigger multipliers but we need them to hit. We had a lot of larger multipliers in the previous draw but none of them hit. We have our pool tickets for the Tuesday draw. The best we did was a 3 times multiplier. This is two draws is a row where the highest multiplier was a 3. The Powerball jackpot is also large enough for our pool to play. So when the Mega Millions jackpot is won, we can switch to playing Powerball. We have played the Mega Millions game 15 draws in a row.
