I do, now that I have gotten older, especially on playing the lottery. Just by playing on a feeling lately has put me in the + $ side for the year when it comes to scratchers. Not so well on the PB or Lotto Am.....The Mrs and I have the annual Christmas scratcher-fest coming up next week. 1 book of $30 scratchers 1 book of $10 scratchers Good luck to all if you are playing PB tomorrow.

The 40 roll record for Powerball is $2,040.1 million - more than double the current jackpot. A lot more than double this one. The cash value of the PB record jackpot was a hair over $997 million. If this run gets to the same 2.04 billion it will only be worth $941 million, coming up $56 million shy of the record. If this run gets to 2.05 billion PB will brag about a new record, but to simply equal the record we need an annuity of $2.1627 billion if the interest rates stays the same. lot

KYF, Thanks for the break down with needing generated sales and percentages. I haven't considered those particular aspects on the new $5 price tag. My contention is that this run is already at the 40/41 rollover point because of the $50M starting point as opposed to $20M. They eliminated 2 draws and some change by doing so. They also have eliminated the frenzy point(IMHO) that has been a fairly consistent aspect of both the PB and MM games. While the last increase is $57M, I have a suspicion

Measley Millions only went up $13M on Friday. Went up $25M on Tuesday... Wouldn't have anything at all to do with Christmas being on Thursday or the PB at $1.7 Billion on Wednesday would it ??
