The Gamblers Paradox
Talke from this what you wil:
Summary
The gambler's paradox, often referred to as the gambler's fallacy, is the mistaken belief that past independent events influence future outcomes. This fallacy leads individuals to think that if a particular event has occurred more frequently than expected in the past, it is less likely to occur in the future, and vice versa.
Understanding Independence
In probability theory, independent events mean that the outcome of one event does not affec

It looks as if the $5.00 MM ticket is doing poorly.
If you are talking about the # of rolls before the MM jackpot got won yesterday I think it was 27 rolls.
My bad if you are talking about a different event.

Is there any method or system that can an predict the first digit that will fall in Pick 3
Yes, interesting to see which tests are involved before the actual drawing and what constitutes a disqualifying event for a set of balls.
To your earlier point about variations between draws by position, it's easy to make the mistake of lumping all draws into a singular dataset.

I used this is my source https://www.statology.org/probability-vs-odds-whats-the-key-distinction/
from the article:
Odds express the ratio of success to failure. Instead of saying 12% chance of success, you might say odds of 3 to 22 , meaning for every 3 people who subscribe, 22 do not.
...
When the probability is low (close to 0), odds and probability are almost the same.
....
Also, the lottery people usually say odds when their chart is actually the probability. Fo

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Scoring tickets refers to obtaining tickets that are hard to find, like a nearly sold-out concert or sporting event.
You bought tickets that anyone with $10 can buy that never sell out. Big deal.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
How you know I'd be giving away lots of our money?
There's at least one event we'd be giving many dollars to.

LOTTERY POST 25TH ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY #2
I love reading these responses, it would be a life changing event for sure. I guess I would hire a lawyer, financial adviser, people who could help me set up accounts. I would get my mother in law out of that darn nursing home, with round the clock nurses to wait on her hand and foot. I would support St. Jude as I have always done because I was blessed with healthy children. I would own a Bentley, powder blue convertible with white leather interior and drive it everywhere my dream car. Build a b

DC 5 Lottery needs to be audited immediately. The same thing that happened to Tennessee in 2007
Digits 6,7,9 have been a popular triad for month of April. So while this singles event is going on I might play 6,7,9 triad with remaining 7 digits 0,1,2,3,4,5,8 in box forms. That would be 21 box combos to win $425
Maybe 67901. 01 is a hot pair
279 as a triad is also a good choice

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I got my $3 PB ticket for Wednesday draw.
I would love a $2M win, but the reset jackpot is still a life changing sum of money.
Good luck to all - whether one adds the power play or not - it's all a personal preference - as long as in the event one wins the second prize, they don't entertain the thought of what if I played the extra dollar
