The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
The Lottery hasn't updated the weekly Raffle sales data yet, but I bought a ticket this morning around 11:00, a week after the lottery's last update. My ticket was 2775xx, and the lottery's last reported was 263272. 2775xx minus 263272 equals 14228. 14228 divided by 7 equals an average of 2032 tickets drawn per day this past week. We're 89 days into the Raffle, so 2775xx divided by 89 equals 3118. 3118 times 122 (number of days in the Raffle) equals a potential total sales figure of 38

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Not so much can I afford it but rather due to the low odds? (at least in terms of 'lottery land' odds they're low) Years ago while I was buying some Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle tickets, the woman behind the counter said to me - Well! Aren't you the smart one! She then said At least people have a decent shot at actually winning this. I realized that she was a 'Focal Point'. She saw how many people bought tickets for the big games, but she didn't see many of them bring back a winning tick

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Florida Raffle 2026: What are the odds? The return of the Florida Lottery Raffle certainly caught my eye. I have thought about the raffle in years past, but did not realize it had been 20 years since the last one. It looks like they have re-vamped the format (multiple drawings instead of one drawing, multiple million-dollar prizes, all tickets purchased valid for all drawings.) But I am curious as to how they have calculated the odds. Now, I have played the Florida Lottery Jackpot Trip

Holiday Raffle!
My wife and I got about $100 in scratchers to do around Christmas, then took the $50 we won and bought 1 PA raffle ticket and $30 in scratchers. The raffle ticket brought nothing and I still have $16 in winnings off the scratchers to turn in. Will I buy another raffle ticket? Yep. And I'd have bought more this year but when I checked, it was sold out.

New York- The Million Dollar Raffle
New York Lottery held a raffle-style drawing the concluded on October 26, 2025. Buy-in was $20/ticket and the game was advertised as the best odds to win $1,000,000; as the following indicates, those odds got remarkably better for those that played. Reportedly, only 791,352 of the planned 2,000,000 tickets were sold; this was over a many month marketing campaign. Apparently NYL took a bath as there were 15, $1,000,000 grand prize winners, 15, $100,000 second prize winners, 15, $25,000 third plac

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
I've rethought my ticket buying strategy..... I decided to buy one raffle ticket per week in June. I'm gambling that there wont be a ticket buying frenzy during June. If there is a frenzy, no harm done. If there isn't one, I figured I'd be better off with more tickets in my hand than not. I stopped in a RaceTrack today and bought ticket number 2984XX. BTW I was shocked when I ordered one Florida Millionaire Raffle ticket and the clerk responded with You want MegaMillions? She had never sold

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
Per Florida Lottery, the Raffle sales weekly update is 190300 as of 4-24. We're 55 days in, so average daily sales are at 3460 per day, slightly under last week's 3540 average. So 3460 times 122 (total days of sales in the raffle) would equal 422,120 tickets sold. 640900 Tickets need to be sold just to fund all of the prizes.

New York- The Million Dollar Raffle
New Yorkers do play raffle games... except they do it in Pennsylvania. New York's border state of Pennsylvania has been holding their Millionaire Raffle for more than the last 20 consecutive years. They sell just 500,00 tickets, ($20 each) tickets sales run from November 4, 2025 to January 3, 2025. Odds are 125,000 to 1 to win one million dollars due to the fact they award four one million dollar prizes. I can't ever recall a Millionaire Raffle drawing where they didn't sell all 500,000

The Florida Millionaire Raffle is back!
263272 tickets sold as of 5/21. Let's work this one from the back end. 640900 tickets need to be sold just to fund all prizes (so, does not includes costs incurred by the Lottery to set up the Raffle, or associated advertising, and does not include funding for education, which is the Lottery's raison d'etre.) 640900 minus 263272 leaves 377628 tickets needing to be sold by June 30, the last day to buy tickets (40 days from now.) 377628 divided by 40 equals an average of 9440 tickets need to

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
I too have had 'trouble' with what's being argued so passionately in this thread. When I lived in the Northeast, although I lived in New York State, I lived in close proximity to Pennsylvania. Every Fall The PA Lottery (for what I'm guessing is the last 20 years or more) holds their Millionaire Raffle. According to the raffles official rules, a maximum of 500,000 tickets can be sold. The PA Lottery has always advertised the odds for the raffle at 125,000 to 1 because there are 4 top prize w
