Money and the Crime of Kidnaping
You would be surprised at the number of people, even well educated, who do not understand basic tech with security cams. I have had neighbors think my nestcams were fake. I do think she was targeted for having a famous daughter. I think it was likely someone who did work for the family like a landscaper. They copied a key and went in the back door. Then time was spent looking for a safe and other assets. And it is possible she recognized the criminals . I heard one talking head say this would ex

I'm done playing the lottery
That's pretty common behavior among celebrities. They do tend to stick to themselves than socialize with us commoners And it's for good reasons: they can get sued for trivial b.s. that wasn't intended for. All those Hollywood types, NBA Ballers, NFLers etc., are taught to avoid common people and move differently as a celebrity. You'd be surprised how ordinary people will scheme for a way to get a celebrity entangled with them and then sue 'em. Its why most travel with security or some kind of sp

Are heads starting to roll?
I used to play online alot, but after they updated their security measures for credit cards I refuse. If you put any number in wrong ONE time, your card is banished for life. I accidentally put my three digit code in wrong for my debit card after I got a new one. They said I would have to use a different card, or get a new one from my bank. I get if you put it in wrong say three times, but only once?! I said nope, you lost my business

If You Won BIG, Would You Perform Risk Management?
Risk management can be broken down into 2 main phases, risk assessment followed by risk mitigation. One such example would be FDIC insurance, which is usually set at up to $250,000 per depositor. For a large win, you can find out if your current bank is a participant in the intraFI network. This service allows dividing large deposits across many member banks, keeping each individual deposit under the $250,000 limit so you can effectively protect $50,000,000 or more. One of their offering

Lottery is not random it's predetermined
Just think about it in midday Wisconsin the digit #5 hasn't been hit since January 6th IOW, the #5 has come up, but by limiting the data points you're looking at you can find a partial set of data in which it doesn't show up. Cool. Still, let's pretend that the midday drawing, using the exact same procedures and equipment as for the other drawings (and ignoring the results of any test drawings that might be conducted), is somehow completely separate from those other drawings. Each time

Impact of "Free Money" on Lottery Spending
I'm a mental accounting guy myself. Last week I won 40 bucks playing a dice game called Left, Right, Center. The Old Fogies that live around here play it at The Activity Center once per month. They get a group of maybe 100 people sitting around tables rolling dice trying to win the pot . Unbelievable how LOUD those fogies start screaming when they start rollin' them bones. From lookin' at 'em, you wouldn't think they had that much life left in 'em. (Not that I aint an Old Fogie myself or nu

would your diet and eating habits change if you won the jackpot?
Huge change by cutting out all the caffeine and boredom snacks required to get through a 10.5 hour shift... No staff though, hired help is always a weak security link. I would like to build one of those robotic gardens to grow fresh veggies.

You Can't Lose If You Don't Play
One can only guess how many times my lists...based on lotterology, have helped people win THOUSANDS of dollars! Maybe someone looked at my list and saw a license plate number, social security number, address number, birthday, or a number they liked and stayed on it. That said, I wish you good luck! I love you all.

I know that this is technically not a lottery question, it's about PCH Sweepstakes bankruptcy .
He said this left him financially ruined and he can't find a job as he hasn't worked in roughly 10 years and is an older man. He said he blew his PCH Annuity payments frivolously Poor decisions can lead to all sorts of problems. If he's lucky some of that frivolous spending resulted in assets that can be sold, such as more house than a guy with a modest fixed income (he probably qualifies for social security) needs, and Walmart might give him a job as a greeter. What do the wronged PCH

Annuity or Cash Value
What would be a reasonable cut off age where one says, heck no, am taking cash I don't think that whether or not you expect to live long enough to collect all of the payments is a good reason for making the choice between cash and annuity. Being older, within reason, could argue in favor of the annuity. If you're under 50 or 60 there are probably a lot more reasons you might want to spend a disproportionate amount of the jackpot in the first few years. If you're 70 and the cash value is $10
