I am coming to your State 😁
I would be super happy if I win big in California or Texas, simply because they don't have a State tax on the lottery

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Liar! Cali got nothing on our brisket. And our Whataburger is better than your In and Out burger joint. Just ask those Californians residing here. I went to an In and Out joint in Houston and it was my first time. I had a look at their burgers. Charred burgers. ....they had it decorated with beautiful lettuce display, tomatoes thicker than the border walls of Texas. And the burger just look pretty than a real burger, you know what Im saying, man? Y'all don't kno

Balancing Odds and Cost 😁
Last summer I was in Texas for vacation, I bought a 15 draw Texas Lotto ticket, the jackpot was in the 30M range. I did not win the jackpot . But you are right, at $1 a draw even with the odds it feels ok. Where I live the state doesn't tax the lottery, so a 1M win would be 630K, which is a very decent win. I add the extra $1 for the power play to make it 1,260,000 after taxes, now that sounds very good Good luck on your upcoming draws and Happy Birthday in advance.

.....how you mean? Texas own its power grid. We don't depend on the continental U.S. for our power grids like all the other states do, including California. We getting a large influx of California residents moving to Houston and the suburbs of Houston. As well as a score of businesses leaving that over-taxed state for the Lone Star state, baby! Not that us Texans care....we like to keep Texas red, and those Cali people coming here are coming from a failed blue state . Bu

Lottery Numbers Aren't Meant To Be Random
No, they do not test it to prevent predictability. There's no need to, because the drawings aren't predictable in the first place. None of those plastic or rubber balls with numbers painted on them care if they were chosen in the last drawing or not. They are physical objects with no memory or ability to know anything. You need to re-read their website because you are inferring something that isn't there. https://www.texaslottery.com/export/sites/lottery/Player_Protection/mythbusters.htm

Help Me Understand This 😭
It might have something to do with the fact that 3 of the states that win the other 2 jackpot games don't have Millionaire for Life. Florida, Texas, and California. So there are probably a lot fewer tickets being sold.

Once in a blue moon powerball X10
MUSL added the 10X multiplier to PowerBall on 10/7/2015. According to The Texas Lotto Report ( https:///PB2015Rule.htm ) - Ya gotta Google Texas Lotto Report due to The LP's software not allowing the full link above to appear! But here's a cut and paste from The TLR - PowerPlay prizes can be multiplied by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. They added the 10x to the mix BUT they have the option to announce the 10x may not be available for a particular draw. And the 10x is not applicable to

Powerball
Wow, Im so glad I live in Texas. You can win a jackpot prize and remain anonymous. There's no grace period or anything like that. You get your money and move on without anybody knowing outside Lottery officials.
