LOTTERY POST 25TH ANNIVERSARY GIVEAWAY #1
Having access to the lottery post enables me to do thorough research, and takes out the guess work. I can research the history of a number and how often that number has hit in a particular state/states. The lottery post offers so many useful tools/resources that help to increase my chances of finding a potential hit. I also love the friendships/acquaintances that I have met since being a member, there are so many great people on lottery post that really put a lot of time and work in to help othe

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The sales per draw have been amazingly consistent over the last few draws and show no signs of increasing despite the relatively large size of the jackpot.
It's not all that consistent, and it's much easier to see if you look at the change in revenue from each drawing (starting at $100 $110 million):
$23,294,330 $436,660 up
$22,952,415 -$341,915 down
$24,492,395 $1,539,980 up
$24,019,680 -$472,715 down
$24,827,525 $807,845 up
$25,383,490 $555,965 up
$26,710

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Since the Powerball jackpot was just won, again it is highly unlikely it will catch up to the Mega Millions jackpot.
I'm fairly sure PB can catch up, but it will take a long time. The last time they each got past a $900 million annuity PB took just over 3 months (9/8 to 12/10) to reach 930. MM (with 2/3 as many drawings per week) took 4 1/2 months (7/1 to 11/14) to reach 980. PB took 40 rollovers to get there and MM took 39. For those that still don't understand why MM starts with a series

Money and the Crime of Kidnaping
I am glad that the state where I live allows for winners to claim anonymously.
Having said that, I must add that how flashy one chooses to live after the win does increase the likelihood of opportunist bringing harm on them.
Being able to fly under the radar with millions in the bank account is a delicate balance.
If I had 250 million in the bank after taxes, it would take a lot of will power and energy to act/live normal.
I believe there is a certain level of comfort in knowing

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Based on the worksheet I figured a roll should be about 1.011 billion, but playing it safe and advertising an even billion isn't a surprise. The most recent worksheet estimates the supported annuity at 1.017. Monday's jackpot finished almost exactly at the estimate for the supported annuity (a hair over 40k higher, based on the numbers I've seen), and last nights was about 3.6 million higher (935.5 vs an estimated 932.4). Now we just wait and see if advertising a jackpot starting with a B will g

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Coin Toss..this is solely and intentionally directed at you. I have seen enough of you self righteous comments in this section to last a Good month. You constantly tell people they are cheap and how you can't understand why they don't spend the extra dollar. Then you proceed to comment on their retirement plans. Honestly, your thought process is different from others but nobody attempts to degrade your opinion. ..Until now... You can take your self entitled conceited opinions, and shove them up y

Most statistics show frequency in relation to past draws, but what if we calculated the frequencies
...your posts are the antithesis of everything I know to be true in relation to the Lottery. One day soon, I'm gonna start hitting 4 to 5 numbers on Pick 6 games, and there shall be sustainable consistency. I will learn how to post images here to show my winnings.
But even now, I can show sustainable consistency of hitting 2 to 3 numbers right on the regular. Keep in mind, Dr. San, the lottery games are designed by human minds. You have to look at it as a business generating revenue, not a p

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I am just curious as to what dollar figure the No - None kids will have a change of thought ???
I have a theory that when/if things creep up to the $1 Billion+/$460 Million CASH VALUE point, mindsets will change on buying a ticket or 2.

$500,000,000. Cash Value is the change point for this nonparticipant.
