You Can't Lose If You Don't Play
You should be glad you can't play 286 numbers in a twice a day 3 digit drawing. You would be thousands of dollars in the hole. A good pick 3 player (which is just luck, as there's no skill to this game) plays just a few numbers and turns a consistent profit. Playing more than 1/4th of the total numbers matrix practically guarantees the outrageous house edge will get you. By playing so many numbers, you've reduced the variance down to the point where it's statistically impossible to be a

You Can't Lose If You Don't Play
Creating a list just for me? Thank you but I thought you made the list for everyone. I'm truly sorry for being so ungrateful. To be clear, the only reason that I am critical is your declaring yourself the Greatest Pick 3 player on Earth and also your constant complaining about the down votes on your Posts. Anyone who declares them self the GOAT invites and deserves all the criticism they get. You are Just like the $tatman. All hat, No Cattle. So again, Thanks for making me feel

Lottery Analysis Tools .
@hypersoniq Thanks for breaking down the sample sizes like that, just what I was looking for. 150 draws for pick 3 seems reasonable. I also think you're right about not over complicating things. I'm definitely more of an Excel guy, but I have another project that I am working on that requires PostgreSQL, so I am already working with it. And since I play lotto, I thought this would be a good way to learn. @dr san For now i'm just focusing on tracking frequency and delays in

Play Strategy
Hey guys and gals. Whats your play strategy when you do play? I play almost every draw except when I'm not sure on a series of numbers. On pick 3, If it's over 7$ for a draw where I'm using multiple random numbers and cannot decide, I usually pass. How do you play?

Lottery Post for the Hobbyist and Serious Lottery Player
lotterologist, brah, the difference between blackjack and the lottery is that with blackjack the deck is not reshuffled with the dealt cards after after each deal. the state of the deck changes each time the dealer deals a new round, which is something you can keep track of in order to make better decisions. that is the essence of card counting. and the more decks the dealer uses the harder it is to get that small edge. with the lottery the balls are put right back where they started after e

Numerous State Lottery holdouts
https://www.kylottery.com/apps/funclub/faq.html Kentucky specific draw games, like Pick 3, Pick 4, Kentucky Cash Ball, Keno, Cash Pop and Kentucky 5, are drawn using a digital drawing system utilizing a random number generator (RNG), instead of using balls and machines. Using the RNG accomplishes the drawings quickly and more efficiently while maintaining the highest level of security. The digital drawing system is not connected to any external system and contains no ability to connect

is it luckier to buy tickets on the rich side of town?
This is a classic question in sociology and applied economics, and the answer is well-documented by demographic studies and market research in the United States (such as data from the Brookings Institution, the Tax Foundation, and various state lotteries). The direct answer is: people from all social classes play, but the financial impact, frequency, and motivation are profoundly different between the poorest and the wealthiest. Here is the breakdown of how lottery consumption

Washington DC Pick 5 1 in 200 million odds
Ok we can disagree. Your counter examples are only for the late draws. 35 consecutive draws for Pick 3 in the Midday/Evening have been singles. 35 consecutive draws for Pick 4 in the Midday/Evening have been singles. 35 consecutive draws for Pick 5 in the Midday/Evening have been singles. Seems suspicious to me. The more balls you add to a draw for the Pick N games the harder it is to not have a duplicate/repeat number but not for Washington D.C. at the moment. It's possible th

So if you find a winning formula, it's considered fraud?
Whether it be: 1. Playing a set of combos from a select group of numbers that you calculate. 2. A formula for buying x amount of tickets. It's considered fraud now? What is considered Bulk ? I have an idea, but I'm curious what do you guys think? For anyone who doesn't understand, i'll simplify it further: If I were to track pick 2, pick 3 numbers, pick 4, pick 5 numbers to win, and filter out the results with my combos . It's considered fraud.
