Fall 2026 Powerball changes
While there are no current, nationwide changes announced for the core Powerball game itself in 2026, many states are expected to replace the game Lucky for Life with a new multi-state game called Millionaire for Life .
New Millionaire for Life Game
The new game, expected to have its first drawing on February 22, 2026, will launch in several states (including Connecticut, Montana, South Dakota, Colorado, North Dakota, and Ohio) and will have different rules and prize structures compared

Name one thing you going to buy after today's pb jackpot?
If the jackpot rolls over I will buy more tickets for the next drawing.
Comedy mode on...
If I check my tickets and see that I have won the jackpot I will have to buy some new clean underwear.
Comedy mode off (hopefully)...
Best wishes and Merry Christmas to all and everything you may wish to purchase!

[UPDATE 2] Thanks to winsumloosesum for tracking down some errors!
Todd, winsum.
I just went to the link you posted and looked up the Bonus Match 5 drawings for the dates
Maryland Bonus Match 5 : missing results between 10/10/1991 and 9/17/1995. https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/357163/8029642
It looks like the missing draws are the result of a change of format. When the game started on Oct 10,1991 it was called Match 5 and the drawings were held on Sun-Tues-Thu. Then on Sept 20,1992 they changed the draws to 5 days a week. Sun-Mon-Tues-Thu-Fri.

Most statistics show frequency in relation to past draws, but what if we calculated the frequencies
you still believe somehow past drawing frequencies can predict future drawings.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I wonder if more people are waiting for the jackpot to reach $1 Billion especially with the price increase.
I don't know if people are waiting for an even billion, but they're definitely waiting longer. The increase if nobody wins tonight is from 843 to 900, but it would have been 843 894 if the interest rate hadn't gone (back) up a bit. The cash increase is $23.6 million. The last 2 times MM got to 900ish the annuity increases were 815 893 (3/19/24) and 760 862 and then 862 1 billion (12/2

To create a tracking system using rhythmic mathematics, similar to a musical pattern, applied to lottery registrations and draws, it is necessary to combine ideas of rhythmic data representation and mathematical analysis. Basic concept of the system 1. Represent each drawn number as a beat or note within a rhythm, similar to a musical sequence, where numbers correspond to events in time (rhythmic pulses). 2. Use this representation to organize registrations and results in a structural form that

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Why the 2 draws down about 5 and 10 million about 3 weeks ago?
I think the good question that even the MM people might not have an answer to is why a few drawing had a bigger jump even though the jackpot wasn't very big yet. There's a suggestion that it's a result of the huge PB jackpot, but I only have some unsupported guesses about why the PB jackpot increased MM sales. I think the big drops were simply a correction to unusually high sales.
Lets say the odds for each of the next fours

Number crunching for mega millions
Its about understanding number distributions frequency patterns, and combinations over time. This can help:
No amount of data will help you understand things when you don't understand the underlying nature of random probability and I've got to assume that anyone who spends that much time on past random results is at least a bit hazy on how things work.
It s like studying weather data patterns exist, but they don t guarantee rain tomorrow.
Despite the jokes about how often the weath

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
You should buy all the combinations that include the one off-by-3 number +/- up to 3 , the other number +/- up to 5 , and the Megaball +/- 1 .
The number of tickets needed is ( 3 *2+1)*( 5 *2+1)*( 1 *2+1) which is 231 tickets, for a cost of $1,155.
The reason for the formula n*2+1 (where n is the number off by) is there are n*2+1 ways to be off by as much as n (e.g. if 35 were off by 3, you would want to bet on 32,33,34,35,36,37,38).
Even if you choose not to drop $1,155 on a single
