By the way, my system gives me 1 to 5 numbers for each columns, and then I use 3 additional filters to get it down to 2 to 3 numbers for each column in a Pick 6 game. ARIMA is an AutoRegressive Integrated Moving Average. This does not help with lottery draws. For an example, I have looked at using ARIMA in time series analysis on the pick 3... the predictions center around 4.5, you can't play 4.5. A system has a value if it keeps you in a budget. After trying all manner of things over the last 20+ years I agree there is no magic formula. There is not the need to study the data as much IF you learn to write proper back tests for whatever systems you work with. At the very least, any system would need to be profitable OVER TIME... and I have yet to back test a system that was, even on the pick 3. I even ran a back test once on a raspberry pi that back tested every single replacement strategy.
