has anyone done this before ?? (fun lotto games )
Could you provide a little more info on your post, like what game you are referencing? Maybe like Powerball, Mega Millions, Keno, a 7 from 45 game with or without bonus balls, etc... I have been very interested in wheeling systems and coverage for a long time. I am looking forward to more info. Thanks.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Since the Powerball jackpot was just won, again it is highly unlikely it will catch up to the Mega Millions jackpot. I'm fairly sure PB can catch up, but it will take a long time. The last time they each got past a $900 million annuity PB took just over 3 months (9/8 to 12/10) to reach 930. MM (with 2/3 as many drawings per week) took 4 1/2 months (7/1 to 11/14) to reach 980. PB took 40 rollovers to get there and MM took 39. For those that still don't understand why MM starts with a series

Balancing Odds and Cost 😁
The odds of winning the second prize on the games below are as follows: Powerball - 1 in 11,688,053.52 . A $2 wager will win you 1M and $3 wager will win you $2M Mega Millions - 1 in 12,629,232 . A $5 wager may win you between $2 and $10M Millionare For Life - 1 in 5,727,645 . A $5 wager will win you $2.2M. Based on the above odds and cost , what game would you play?

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
Tucker, thank you for the very concise explanation. I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, the people that already did not believe what you wrote will probably not be convinced. They do not want to admit they were once mistaken. Improving the odds is exactly why I only buy tickets as a member of a pool. I never buy a ticket on my own. Yes, I could win a pick 3 game but winning $500 is not very exciting for me. Winning the Mega Millions or Powerball games is nearly impossible when buying y

It looks as if the $5.00 MM ticket is doing poorly.
It took 40 draws, 5 months, to generate an annuity jackpot still sub billion. This is the longest series of rollovers ever recorded for Mega Millions. The Texas lottery, using an estimated sales figures translated into what are presumably Poisson distribution calculations, indicated that the probability of forty rollovers was less than 35%. It follows if one does simple math that more than 40 rollovers would be required to reach annuity jackpots over a billion dollars, and thus is unlik

you win the jackpot. how far away are you moving?
I did not pick a distance because if I won tonight's Mega Millions, I would love to live in all the four regions of the US for two years in each region, that is Northeast, Midwest, South, West. While in the four regions, I would love to travel to the nine regions namely; New England, Mid-Atlantic, East North Central, West North Central, South Atlantic, East South Central, West South Central, Mountain, and Pacific. That would enable me tour all the States. There would be 2 months of i

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Well, we're making ready to add some updates to our Powerball Mega Millions historical data pages. Possibly tonight or tomorrow we'll update our server. Just some added info and clean up the data values and presentation a bit. Also, we're working on reverse fitting some NA values, hopefully, by time we post. It's a unique curve fit involving the hyperbolic curve formed by the intersection of two nonparallel lines... it's complicated and nerdy.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
The Powerball jackpot increased by $30.3 million to $775 million after 37 rolls. Last time around PB's advertised increase in this range was $65 million, from 750 to 815 (later boosted to 850, for an increase of $100 million). There's a chance this one will also get a boost tomorrow, but no way the boost gets it to 840ish. Some of that difference is due to the interest rate. Based on the cash value that just gave us an annuity of 740 the cash value of last run's 750 annuity would have been

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I may be the only one on this site that likes the Mega Millions game . I'm pretty sure I like it too. I just haven't started playing it yet. Since the first time they broke the $1 billion mark, PB has offered 3 jackpots advertised at more than $1.7 billion, all in the last 3 years. With slower growth I don't expect MM to manage similar results in only 3 years, but the same basic probability as BP at $5 per ticket should theoretically give us 3 jackpots about twice that size. I mostly prefer

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I am going with the prediction of no rollover for the drawing tonight. Why? Because of the one MM ticket that I got for my birthday...! What could possibly go wrong with that other than the multiplier was a 2X that does not count toward the jackpot...? Kate: Please feel free to get a jump on this one and begin preparing a really nice winners story about a Lottery Post user achieving victory over Mega Millions. Best wishes and good luck to everyone else for the second place priz
