Why do some people call this gambling?
Ah okay! Makes sense now. But, seriously, who does that!!!?! I mean in 2025, why risk losing money even if there's a 50/50 chance that you might not win. Even the odds for some games are 1:1,000 Even politicians know that you don't put money into the stock market unless you're sure of a return. LOL. And half of them knew were unmasked for insider trading . Which further proves my point, lol.

Mega Millions jackpot increases
They told us that the jackpot would grow faster with the matrix change. That doesn't seem to be the case. The latest jackpot increase is $14MM. The odds of winning the jackpot better than before. I don't see how we are going to get bigger jackpots. It is clear fewer people are playing.

Balancing Odds and Cost 😁
A lot of players talk about or are thinking about value when buying a lottery ticket. That's fine if that's important to a player. Given the odds of winning any jackpot, the value is always a negative. I respect the length people go to when calculating that value it would be interesting to see the same approach towards the purchase a pack of cigarettes or beer When I buy tickets all I'm thinking about is What could/would I do with it if I won a big pile of money? I am with you

Balancing Odds and Cost 😁
A lot of players talk about or are thinking about value when buying a lottery ticket. That's fine if that's important to a player. As for me personally, because of the ridiculous odds against players, I don't give value any thought at all. When I buy tickets all I'm thinking about is What could/would I do with it if I won a big pile of money? I know and accept the fact that I'll probably never actually have the pleasure of making that decision. My attitude is if I don't win, it's no bi

DC 5 Lottery needs to be audited immediately. The same thing that happened to Tennessee in 2007
I contacted them thru their web site a couple of days ago. I received this response this morning. Dear Friend: Thank you for your email inquiry. Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
We're surprised there was no fan fair press release or some news event about the one year anniversary of MM's change to: The more expensive $5.00 per play wallet raiding, Anticlimactic Non-Billion dollar jackpot winning, Spectacular bigger odds than the jackpot, singular and only x10 on 5 + 0 events disappointing, Unsurprising non-exciting $10 Million beginning draw, weeks long rollover jackpot choking, Online Lottery game that has been my pleasure to never play. Probability of winning with multiple tickets
2 out of 100 5 out of 100 And before you say these can be calculated as 1 out of 50 1 out of 20 they cannot as there are always 100 combinations. If you buy a combination, that does not mean there are 99 left. Someone else can also buy the same combination as you because there are always 100 combinations available. In your example, the probability of winning is always X out of 100. You should remember that the probability (chances) of winning and odds of winning

Never did this before
The possible draws never go away. The average life span of a human is 72 years, and the lottery is unavailable to anyone under 18. That gives roughly 54 years that you might play... so of that 1,221,759 possible outcomes there will only be 19,710 draws (and that is if it is a daily game) It would take 3,347 years to POSSIBLY see all of the combos drawn. If you would rather believe that the odds are a better scenario than the probability, then the house wins even more, because the nu

alliens x lotteries
There are 3 different ways to generate the histogram of any lottery: 1) 1000 possible combos 2) A few years ago 023 went over 11,000 drawings without being drawn in Ohio nether midday or evening drawings. Yet in each of those drawings the odds were 1000 to `1. Pretty sure in the next 11,000 drawings in any game, around 72% of the combos will have three different digits. about 27% will have two matching digits, and 1% will be triples. 3) Past drawings can be used to determine how clo
