I realize that from a Florida Fantasy5 players perspective going to two draws per day flat out stinks, and that me posting all of the hidden benefits for the Florida Lottery doesn't make it any better for players. Still can't figure this one out? I looked on the Big Winners section on the Michigan lottery website and set the date from when the current Mega Millions started until NOV 2 and there were two prizes of $50k and above in Michigan for Mega Millions during that time and those were $50k and $3Million. For PowerBall , in Michigan, there were 84 prize at or above $50k and those were many $50k prizes and several $1million and $2million prizes. Maybe that will help you figure it out? A

My first choice is Powerball, but only when the jackpot is truly outrageous - 500-750 Mil cash value or more. Lottery sales for the big national games are down. This is probably the main reason the Mega Millions game was recently changed. Even on my worst days I'm not nearly stupid enough to think they wouldn't have tried messing with the game even if sales were still what they were 3 to 5 years ago, but the change was definitely an attempt to increase sales. I'm thinking about buying more tickets, but the big question for me is how many would I buy? I posted above that I won 40 bucks (cash) and I did buy one ticket with that money. I still have the other twenty dollar bill in my wallet, so maybe I'll buy another ticket with that. For now I'm keeping my eye on the raffle just to see what happens. Sales have been slow... about 3600 a day, so if they remain slow that'll have some bearing on whether or not I'll buy more. I'm a fan of raffles..
