Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Yea it's kind of a catch 22. I used to play pick 5 before my state went to computer draw. And I did the same. Did not buy numbers. And my number hit. And I had a feeling it was going to come out. A very strange/strong feeling. But that's a whole other story in its self. But I guess I'll just keep playing the same numbers. If it's meant to be its meant to be at this point. It's basically my routine now. But it does kinda make me wonder if it's rigged by you saying your customer did not by a ticke

Washington DC Pick 5 1 in 200 million odds
The images below are the current state for all pick 3 and pick 4 games in U.S. and Canada in relation to skip count for doubles. My pick 5 draw history has lapsed so cannot provide the current state.
The first image is for Pick 3. Its still believable.
The 2nd image is for Pick 4. Fairly unbelievable.
At what skip count would you send a email alert to verify the software?

The expected value cannot be changed by your selection of numbers. The expected value is a function of the paytable , which is set by the lottery, and you have zero control over it. - Tucker Black
Not that you are saying this, but I've noticed something related on this forum often comes up. If we are talking about EV, shouldn't we also be talking about finding the best paytable? This morning someone posted they would choose pick 5 as their lifetime game of choice in another thread, and

Washington DC Pick 5 1 in 200 million odds
I see what you're saying. ChatGPT has extremely limited analytical capability. This is yet another example of where it fails. Anyone can calculate 0.3^16. It has no value.
Odds are for future unknown events. Odds have no meaning for past events.
If you are trying to prove their drawings are not random, you need way more than 16 drawings for a statistical proof. Pick 5 hasn't been around long enough for that amount of data. After 100 years of drawings then you can do statistical tests.

Is there any method or system that can an predict the first digit that will fall in Pick 3
The following from page 9 of the document spells out how they select which ball sets are used for which live drawing:
The back-up public witness will then be asked to make the random ball set selections. Seventeen (17) sets of ten (10) balls, each numbered 0-9, will be contained in cases labeled A1 through A17 (or the current ball set security codes in service). The back-up witness, by means of a random drawing utilizing the envelope containing seventeen cards designated A1 through A17 (or t

markov pick3
The 3 positions are as independent of each other as the next draw is to previous draws... so 0 through 9 has a 10% chance of being drawn in any position. This extends from a pick 2 through a pick 5 (quinto) game.
You can look at all 1,000 possible combinations of pick 3 draws and you will find 720 combinations where each digit is unique, 270 pairs and 10 triples. Even though there are more favorable outcomes if all 3 digits were different, there is no profit in playing 720 tickets... and the

Washington DC Pick 5 1 in 200 million odds
Ok we can disagree. Your counter examples are only for the late draws.
35 consecutive draws for Pick 3 in the Midday/Evening have been singles.
35 consecutive draws for Pick 4 in the Midday/Evening have been singles.
35 consecutive draws for Pick 5 in the Midday/Evening have been singles.
Seems suspicious to me. The more balls you add to a draw for the Pick N games the harder it is to not have a duplicate/repeat number but not for Washington D.C. at the moment.
It's possible th

Unlikely this is a software glitch. Presumably they use the same RNG for pick 3, pick 4 and pick 5.

So if you find a winning formula, it's considered fraud?
Whether it be:
1. Playing a set of combos from a select group of numbers that you calculate.
2. A formula for buying x amount of tickets.
It's considered fraud now?
What is considered Bulk ?
I have an idea, but I'm curious what do you guys think?
For anyone who doesn't understand, i'll simplify it further:
If I were to track pick 2, pick 3 numbers, pick 4, pick 5 numbers to win, and filter out the results with my combos . It's considered fraud.
